We did our first tour in the US.







NEW YORK→Cambridge→CHICAGO→DENVER→SEATTLE→SF→LA


We toured together with Japanese senpai bands,
And the final live was in Seattle. Whenever I look back, I feel that our live style and roots are in this tour.


Without knowing how to play our instruments well,
And knowing vaguely what it means to stand on stage,
Since we only had the skills to weather through it with a reckless momentum, next I want to go meet the current 4 of us again.

Yes, they played here for the first time in 2008 on this Japan Nite Tour, and then in 2011 for the AM2 Convention in Anaheim.

LOL SCANDAL wouldn't be the SCANDAL we know today if they did that...

Still less technical skill compare to these days but the members excitement, cheerfulness, enjoyment and the energies are better than the great Budokan show.

It's really nice to look back at things and reflect from them. Those simple things like playing cards while waiting for a delayed flight and in between talks with other members, those moments will make you smile whenever you remember them. <3

They really improved skill-wise.
Back then, they really look like kids, lol all with their chubby cheeks and relentless energy.

I can't imagine SCANDAL without seeing their faces..

aww, this blog entry.. is so nostalgic than I expected.. RINA and her back stories.. it's like she's remembering all the way back when they are going to start the band.. somehow it kinda give me a teary eyes.. tears of joy to be exact.. .toj. I'm just so happy and proud they totally formed they're band successfully!~ .clap.

Ah, the good old days... How I miss them... But you miss them because they are just so good. Sometimes I wonder why I didn't become a SCANDAL fan after I watched the Shoujo S PV back in 2009. May be because I was having doubts. My friends don't even know them! But now I'm promoting them as a great all-girls band.

I like the past SCANDAL because of their very pedestrian style. Fun and enjoyable, and let's your worries go away. But I also like the present SCANDAL because of how they are exploring various types of music, as well as composing their own songs. It showcases their talents as well, showing that they can be boundless when it comes to music. They have also improved in their playing, which is a very good thing if they are call themselves "The Most Powerful Japanese Girlie Pop Rock Band".

SCANDAL is still very young as a band, but they have already shown that they can do what other bands can do. They show people that even though one doesn't have the experience and the skills, with constant perseverance and hard work, you can achieve your goals and make your dreams come true.

I look forward to their future works! Treasure the past, enjoy the present and look forward to the future with a smile in your face! Ah, sorry to be so worked up on this... I just get so emotional when it comes to SCANDAL's story.

I was 2 year too late, why didn't I know about SCANDAL back in 2008. what a regret. could've attended at least one of their Japan Nite concert, would've been awesome. a moment to never forget.

So was I, 2 years late. Got to know them through Animax Musix 2010.

They were really lucky to have the chance to tour the US, and I am really glad they made it all the way.
