L'Arc~en~Ciel is one of the top bands, period! There were the main reasons I started listening to J-rock, (though I already started listening to J-music before then). Their style, sound and music are all great, from almost dark metal-like, to pop-rock, they are all very skillful in what they do.
the very first song I listen to, even before I knew who they were, is READY STEADY GO, themesong to FullMetal Alchemist. from then on, I just need to check out more of their stuffs.
Is there any musical score/sheet of their music available, I'm wanting to learn to play guitar, and I think they are the best to learn from. I want to try to play their music.

i finally had some free time to download stuffs for my Laruku collection..XD

i agree, and kenchan is such a good guitarist, and yukkie is also a great drummer!~
and i also noticed that before, but i guess i confirmed it somewhere that they aren't related at all..
although they both came from Osaka, Japan and i also heard that tetchan has a smaller sister..
but its just nice to know that they are both great bassists..:D

and btw, L'Arc~en~Ciel has another song which will be used in the upcoming movie of FMA:B Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi!~ ^o^
i guess the title isn't out yet?..>w<;;
i'll keep you guys posted for details..X3

It should be Tetsu and Tomomi.

Tomomi reminds me of a girl version of Tetsu because of melodic bass style. She must have been playing a lot to have that skill.

This is the first Jrock band I've listened to and because of them I started to like Jrock songs. Hyde also inspired me to be "vain".haha

Just came back from their live concert here in Singapore~~!!

Unfortunately for me, I am not familiar with them, so I can't provide a detailed account of tonight's setlist.

But memorable mc events include: Ken giving Tetsuya a total of 5 merlion figurines (a local mascot) which he bought at a local shopping place, Tetsuya throwing bananas and lolipops to the audience and Hyde mentioning he got drunk drinking the Singapore Sling (a local cocktail drink) the night before.

Sorry that I can't share anymore than these, but I really enjoyed myself tonight at their live.

L'arc~en~ciel is one of the pioneering Japanese artist / band that is really famous within anime clubs here in the Philippines during the late 90's... those were the days that it is almost impossible to watch any of their live videos.....

What I love about this band is that they bring bang the theatrics in rock... they remind me of Queen.
