Theme：RINA

We had a long rehearsal.

It was a time for changing live arrangements,
And where different things and ideas flew about.

I'm looking forward to our second
"Kyuu ni Kite Gomen." one-man live series.
We'll be able to see everyone soonー!

After that, we changed studios

We want to make a show that's beyond a band performance.
Of course swinging my head and being intense is what I like best,
And the base of SCANDAL will never change.
Recently we've been on TV, magazines, etc.,
And if there are people who know us outside of lives, I definitely want them to come to a live of ours.
That's the best.

In between we checked the hall tour goods,
And also the fan club magazine bulletin♪
Yep, I have a good feeling about them!
Ah, today we also decided on the fundamental set list for the hall tour!
Since it's still before rehearsals, we might revise it.
There wasn't a nervousness of incompleteness when we made this set listー; it happens every time.
AhーI want everyone to hurry up and hear the album and make up expectations and crazy ideas. haha

Several members have said Rina should be more ambitious as a drummer but having know many drummers I think she is pretty good, and nobody could say she does not put enough effort into it.

To me, that picture looks like the pedal on the left of the snare, probably used for opening and closing the high-hat (I'm not a drummer, so these are just my best guesses for the names).

That one will always be a single pedal, but I guess that leaves a mystery still for the pedal used for the right foot pedal(s) (I think it's called a 'floor tom' perhaps).

Rina has said that she's learning to use a double pedal, but I've yet to hear that she's used it in anything released/performed as of yet.

The Genki Lovers performance was undoubtedly amazing, even so much that Rina probably only used a single pedal since from I could hear, the rhythm went like this:

(Floor Tom = FT, Snare Drum = SD, FT-FT = Two FT hits for one usual FT hit):

FT SD FT-FT SD

^ repeat that and so on. It was at a fairly fast tempo though. :D

"base of Scandal will never change.." now that's a good thing to read..what all the fans wants to hear and see from them..rock on!!..
