I think it was mario kart on N64, but it could also have been some shooter, because my brothers made me play stuff that wasn't allowed for my age

Crash Bandicoot!
A big Playsation's classic and still one of my favorite games.
Simple and funny, this game is perfect for start to play to video games. Moreover, by its easy gameplay, it's always fun to play it for everyone. Today play to Crash is as a come back to the 2000's for me.
Unfortunately since "Crash of the titans", the game lost all its funny side and all is became...boring: from the gameplay to the character's behavior...
But well, it was my first video game.

First ever game was probably 'Dragon Quest VI' or 'Chrono Trigger' on the SNES...

Sonic 3 & Knuckles
A SEGA Genesis game, but I played it on the PC with SEGA Smash Pack 2. Came with a lot of other great games too. Apart from S3&K, Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intentions and Comix Zone are pretty awesome games too.
