What does she mean by hanabata? Growing up in Hawaii we used that term as boogers. I don't think she means that here.

'Flying get' really means 'flying score, win or target' and is slang for buying a computer game or music CD more than a day earlier than it's release date.

A bit of AKB trivia for you ;
"Flying Get" by AKB sold 1,025,952 copies on the day of release setting a new Oricon record !
