Indie ArtistTo choose just one would be like... trying to count grains of sand on a beach. To much, to many, to tiring
Instead I would say that Clint Eastwood is a man who gets older with so much grace and strength, that even if I liked him as an actor I simply worship him as producer / director. His movies are never below a good, sometimes they are great up to awesome.
Take for example "Grand torino" - simple, slow film - but packed with emotions, thoughts, humour ... and righteousness. Just perfect. For me, at last.

Wow, I'm quite a huge fan of Kurosawa's and it's also my all-time favourite. It always brings me to tears upon every viewing, and it even changed the way I look at life. It really means a lot to me personally, too.

7 year itch
Leon
Misery
The science of sleep

Old boy
Spellbound

A whole lot has been removed from this list since the space might not be enough.
