I thought Taiyou SCANDALOUS is kinda suspicious, coz it has only 1 cover for 3 types, & also the same price for 3 types
so it'll be the single right before an album release like harukaze n love survive, eh?
I'm excited about SCANDAL having a lot of new songs coming up in a new album

it's too soon IMO, they've just release SCANDAL SHOW last march, & now a new album in August already?
well I know SS is a best album, but still..
& most importantly I'm afraid I won't have enough money to buy it

i saw this on generasia two weeks ago too, but i didn't want to say anything cos there was no public announcement on a new album, so i don't know whether the editors were extrapolating based on past data (both TB and BA were released in august), or was it really true. let's hope it is. it's about time anyway

I'm off by one month. I speculated for a new album in September but August is pretty good too.

Scandal Show is a compilation so it doesn't really count as a "new" album in my books.

Wow, would they really announce a new album this late? I'm not that knowing within the world of music entertainment (especially the japanese market) but my previous favorite bands would never have done anything like that.

It's awesome though, but I haven't even bought me Scandal Show yet. If they go on a tour and come to Europe (either Paris or London I guess is most likely) I think I'll fly down there. Been in both cities before and with the addition of Scandal, a trip like that would be awesome!

New Album? Already?
It's strange, they already released an album this year. Moreover, only 2 singles have been released since BABY ACTION, it means that if an album releases this August, there will about 10 new songs, so a total of 12 songs from February to August (I didn't count the 2 covers in Harukaze)
So for summarize: 2 major singles, 2 albums, 1 DVD and 1 tour in 7 months?!
I'm tempted to say it's impossible but after all it's SCANDAL :p
Anyway if that is confirmed, our wallets will crack!

Yeah, Scandal Show doesnt really count since it's a "Best Of" album. At least Best★Scandal had exclusive songs like Ring!(x3) or Maboroshi Night.
It's weird, 'cause for the past times when they released a brand new album they would release a new single around a week or two prior to the album. Since Taiyou Scandalous comes out July 11, the distance from that to "sometime in August" is a little stretched.
Let's look at the past years:
Love Survive(7/27) - Baby Action(8/10) ~2 weeks
Namida(7/28) - Temptation Box(8/11) ~2 weeks
Yumemiru(10/14) - Best★Scandal(10/21) ~1 week
Following similar trends could put this album out at around the beginning of August, resulting in a 3 week gap, roughly. Or Troll-Sxny could throw the previous release pattern out the window and do something different. iDunno.
This is all my guess and working around patterns and what-not. Nothing official.

Guess I'll have to push back my dream of getting a Fender Telecaster back further.

All 3 versions of Taiyou Scandalous next month, plus this album a few months later.

too bad I'm broke. Hopefully I'll be able to save up enough by the time the album comes out. Wish me luck
