We've noticed that some people love to spam or post nonsense in threads, so instead of just dismissing and deleting these spam posts, we will be taking this issue more seriously in order for the spammers to learn.
Starting today, we will be implementing a spam prevention system.
This is to reduce the spam posts and also give punishment to those who spam.
Also, those who post only with the intention increase their post count (doing things like posting in every thread in a section with nonsense posts, or saying "Thank you" in every thread even though there is already a thanks button available) will be dealt with accordingly. We will be deleting/marking posts like that and handing out proper punishment.
In short...
So here is how it will go....
If the staff sees a post like this one for example...
A huge SPAM word will be placed on it...

Once the member receives 3 SPAM words on 3 different posts, he/she will be given the SPAMMER crown and have it for one week.

A member is only limited to receive 2 SPAMMER crowns.
Once he/she receives the crown for the 3rd time, they will receive a punishment:
A temporary account suspension

If a member currently has the SPAMMER Crown, he/she will be carefully observed, meaning that spamming even more will result in a punishment.
WARNING: If the member who was given the word SPAM edits and removes the word SPAM on his/her post, he/she will be immediately banned for doing that.

UPDATE
There will now be a SPAM Alert Level located in your profile.
1 SPAM minus 1 level. Once you reach the final one that will be the time you will receive the SPAMMER Crown.
If you guys want to quickly check on your post that was SPAM-ed you can easily check it through:
View Profile -> Statistics Tab -> View all posts by "your username"

Please make sure to be aware of these rules:
-No posting in more than 10 threads in total within a TWO HOUR TIME FRAME.
-No posting more than a maximum of 25 posts on the entire site in 24 hours.
-The same applies to every forum, SCANDAL or not SCANDAL related.
-Violation of this rule will result in the offending posts to be considered as spam,and the offending member will be dealt with as a spammer.

Posts like "So-and-so is so cute I can't stand it xoxoxoxoxo","Thanks for the translation!" "Thanks for the pics!" "Thanks for farting!" is fine,but not in several threads at once. You're grateful,we get it. There is no need to spill your gratitude into 10 threads. We also understand the need to spazz over these 4 cute girls, but, again, keep it down to a reasonable amount. Copious posts like these will result in the member being dealt with as a spammer.

What counts as SPAM?
This is some of what constitutes as spam:

-Posting only emoticons.
-Posting things that have nothing to do with the topic.
-Posting redundant things ("OMG the crowd at the show was so big!") to get your post count up.
-Necroposting (posting non-newsworthy comments in threads that haven't been updated in a long time)
-Posting in several threads just to get your post count up / posting in several threads in a short time frame. You cannot post more in than 10 threads in total within a TWO HOUR TIME FRAME.
So here is how it will go....
