The first time I saw Peeta (in the trailer).. I was like... SERIOUSLY?
After watching the movie.. I was like.. Oh, he brought out Peeta for real. Ahaha. I hope they focus on the action scene in the next book. I would really want to see the clock-like arena you know (or is that in the third book?? haha)

It is on the second book..And yeah, more action!..The action scenes on the first movie is really short and hoping for more..Maybe they will go all-out on the second one since it has the most traps and tapes from the past hunger games. Haha

Have seen both Battle Royale and The Hunger Games and though they are different in some ways, the basically are the same in a few others.

The shaky camera Hunger Games is filmed in gets pretty annoying after awhile and I didn't quite feel anything for the other contestants (besides Catniss and Peeta) since we didn't get any scenes with them nor find out anything about them. In fact the camera almost never focused on their faces for more than a 2 seconds.

But I thought the movie was pretty good. Got the book too so I'll read it and see if it is any better.

I'm team Peeta too!!! (book-based) hahaha!!! Go Peeta!!!! .love.

i hope SCANDAL likes Hunger Games too......

I recommend you start reading the books then. It's much more detailed and awesome!

not put in down again until I had read all three books !
But I did feel each book was a bit more downbeat and sad than the one
before.

I have not seen the movie yet but my daughter thought the main characters
were well chosen.

I agree. all three books were sad. aw.. especially the first one when rue died. I cried the whole night which got me frustrated with how they portrayed it in the movie.

You better watch the movie @tonymiller-san. I agree with your daughter. They did great in choosing the actors. :D

The worse part for me was when Prim died at the end of the third book !
I thought how could Suzanne Collins do that to me.

But have you noticed how she placed the love story on the plot?
I say it's not that good hehe.
She's good with thriller and action but no love story! haha

The first one was the best. It was so suspenseful and you never knew what would happen next. But I didn't like how Foxface died. It seemed like Suzanne Collins forgot about her and was like "let's kill her off right now".

Catching fire seemed to drag on and on for me. I preferred Mockingjay over it. It made me want to cry!

@kawaii: I agree. the best one is the First book right? I mean, of course, its the actual "hunger games". Haha... Foxface is the one who died with the berries.. correct? aww yeah, she was alive for a long time and just died in a snap. LOL

I wasn't expecting the movie to be so much identical to the movie. It was great. Can't wait for the next one

I'm a big fan of THE HUNGER GAMES .love. Finnick is my favorite character. I cried when he died and had to stop reading Mockingjay for a week because I was really sad. And also Rue's death was so moving!

Can't wait for Catching Fire.

So I finally watched the Hunger Games without reading the book or hearing what it's about or anything. I liked it, but it kinda reminded me of the Japanese movie from 2000 called Battle Royale.

I'm not a big fan of this movies XDD But just I don't like Katniss, I like her at the first but... not now...
Anyway... the next monday I'll go with my sister to the cinema to see the last movie, the second part of Mockingjay Part 2.
I just want to see a lot of action in this movie, and I'll be happy xD
