I'm a big fan of YUI's. She was the one who got me into Japanese music and her songs helped me through some rough times. Although I'm not too fond of most of her newer songs, YUI will always be special for me.

YUI is in my top 3 favorites haha. she is the one who got me into more japanese music and she has a special place like SCANDAL in my heart. she will never leave that place and will be special to me for a long time.

YUI's Your Heaven/It's My Life single is ranked #3 on Oricon,
Personally I thought the single was alright, I liked Your Heaven a lot and the acoustic version of Rain. =3
It's My Life is one of her unique songs, has a very pop, big band feel.
I'm hoping she will revert back to her original rock style with songs like Again, Rolling Star and some more ballads like LOVE&TRUTH, TOKYO.

I'm sure YUI will produce something more YUI rashii in her next single.

Honestly, YUI of late hasn't appealed to me as much as the older days. I do consider I LOVED YESTERDAY as one of the best studio albums from a Japanese artist EVER, in fact, hell, it's the best to me, but her recent works have been disappointing. HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN is good, but nothing special, while her singles of late has been mediocre at best. (Your Heaven is good though).
The only song I could honestly say I really liked from YUI from her recent singles was "a room" from her B-side in the Rain single.
I can't exactly say why I don't like her as much now, it's probably because I feel that SCANDAL has overtaken her in my "favourite Japanese artist" list, plus well, let's face it, PRIDE will own It's My Life/Your Heaven any day, at least to me. YUI is still one hell of an artist, and her old songs hold a special place in my heart, but for now, she's just...well, underachieving.

She should switch to a smaller label, the overproduction ruins a lot of her song that sound way better when played acoustic.

Yui is definitely awesome!!! Great voice and presentation. Though her music is abit lacking now, I'm sure she'll recover and deliver yet another epic string of singles

Rain was an epic single. I so love this song, its lyrics and meaning. <3 Plus even dad said she has epic guitar skills and kewl voice and dad never likes my asian bands and artists.
