I was wondering if anybody had a concrete method of buying Japanese music (digitally) from overseas.  I'm in the US, and while I can get a good amount of Scandal music through iTunes, the selection for other artists and their music is kinda slim.  I'm dying to have Silent Siren and Band-Maid albums along with a bunch of random songs from other bands/artists.

Anybody have a good workaround that let's them purchase Japanese music digitally?  I've seen some stuff about faking an address in Japan on a Japanese iTunes account.  Not sure how strict Amazon MP3 is, but I figured I'd take a look later when I'm home.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Band-Maid is supposedly going to have their albums available on iTunes in the USA sometime soon. I don't know about Silent Siren, though.

I believe both are on iTunes, Japan, but I'm not positive about that.

Oh, yes!  Last night I went on iTunes (US) and saw that the "new" Band-Maid album was available and bought a few songs from it.

I'm positive that Silent Siren songs are available on iTunes Japan.  They're also available on Amazon Japan, but like iTunes Japan they require an address in Japan AND use of Japanese iTunes cards or Japanese credit cards...pfft!

What I have been wanting is Doll$Boxx… I can't seem to find them, and even harder in NZ it seems.

You can try Recochoku. You probably will end up needing Google Translate for it, but I have purchased music before from there using an overseas credit card, so it works. I believe the selection should be pretty good. Can't really guide you around though cos I haven't used that site in almost a year
