yes it is free to download and use. most of the features are free, a couple of features are for scandal mania members only. it's got a great photo album in it. i'm wondering why mami is eating a melon and then taking a shot on stage at a live. LOL you'll see what i'm talking about in the app.

1 more can I change the language?cause still cant understand japanese...

3 Apps currently released, but the [CANDY BOX] Album App is for Android-only currently, not sure if they will do an iOS release, but I hope they do. The Apps there seem to be region-locked as well.

True. it would be difficult to understand. well what i did is i also downloaded language translator apps so that at least i can do an educative guess and translation of the blog. just think of it learning the japanese writings. .uhuh.

I just got my first tablet and don't own a smart phone so I'm not used to these kinds of policies. Are they normal?

I'm never doing anything embarrassing or bad but I don't want someone being able to look through my camera without me knowing. And allowing the developer access to your phone number and serial number seems sketchy to me.

I wonder if the girls know about this.

Is there anywhere in the app where it lets you submit a picture as an avatar or attach one to a comment or something like that? That causes the app to need camera permissions.

that list of permissions isn't particularly unusual for an Android app, most of the apps I've looked at have similar lists. It's a problem for me to, I rarely install apps, but I've bitten the bullet for the scandal mania app and installed it anyway.

If you root your phone and install a custom android build (like cyanogenmod) then you can get an app that will allow you to deny permissions to an app one by one. On normal android the choice is either "accept all the permissions and install" or "don't install"...

There's a new video in the android app! No idea what they're talking about on it, anyone got any idea?
