I can still remember the first time I played BEST★SCANDAL after I loaded it on my iPod. I was walking down the street on my way to school when I hit Play. And when I heard HARU's "Let's go!" and the main riff started playing, I was completely blown away. No wonder this is their trademark song

Honorable mentions go to Anata ga Mawaru and Ring!Ring!Ring!, which were the two other album tracks that got the most plays.

It's a tough one, but ANATA GA MAWARU has a very distinct SCANDAL sound to me.
Not to mention it sounds great live!

Sakura グッバイ has been my favorite song since I first started following SCANDAL. The opening 24 seconds has been my phones' ringtone for years. I just love the melody of the music and the harmonies in their voices that combine to capture that nostalgic feeling in this song.

Well, I must say I always found it pretty difficult to choose one favourite song on BEST★SCANDAL, because there wasn't really a song standing out for me. If I had voted for this poll earlier, I think I would have voted for Scandal Baby, too. BUT! Lately, I became really fond of Maboroshi Night! It has a really nice triplet feel which makes it such a happy, swinging song, beside the walking bass line which I find very attractive. =) It even reminded me a bit of the Swing Girls like that!

For me, Scandal mostly stands out in those energetic songs, and I think Maboroshi Night is fine one among them. As an added bonus, the jazzy character of the song makes it a rare gem between the more pop or rock oriented songs of theirs, too. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
