And I really hope Uryuu's with Mr. Big Bad just as a way to, like, infiltrate and gather info or something. As much as I would like to see another Ichigo vs Uryuu battle, I don't want it to be a fight to the death. But I still feel like Uryuu might really join up with the Quincies :/ They are his ppl after all

- The latest chapter got me confused but I got the hang of it. So, Uryuu's mother was Katagiri, the servant of the Ishida household, huh? And, why did Uryuu have to turn sides NOW?!! But, it doesn't hurt to see another Ichigo vs. Uryuu battle. Hoping that no one dies in that battle. Plus, I want to see Grimmjow soon! Kubo-san, I want a Grimmjow comeback!

This is explained by Zangetsu when he is first introduced: Shinigami can fix the spirit particles in the air around them underneath their feet and use it to land and stand on. Doing this is second nature to most high level Shinigami, to the point of being almost subconsciously done. They use an ability called Shunpo to move quickly from one point to another.
