Yes, that's another reason why the fight is a joke. Gin didn't do anything yet, and in shonen shows, all the minions die before the big boss.

The main antagonist can't die in like 2 chapters. Even Yammy lasted longer than him then.

I still somehow think that Gin is a spy for Soul Society,purely based on the fact that he apologised to Matsumoto when they(Aizen,Gin,Tousen) first revealed their plan to go to Hueco Mundo and betray Soul Society.
