When she was 11 years old Juria Kawakami went for a music audition but failed !
She was amazed and vowed never to fail again.
In her first year at High school she got a contract with a major Japanese record
label Avex and Jurian Beat Crisis was born !

This is her first single "Hurricane love", the logo is a little like 'Scandal's !

She says her style is a fusion of 1980's power pop that her Parents used to play
all the time and Avril Lavigne whom every Japanese girl seems to adore !

All her songs are about teenage angst in Japanese High schools.
