International PerformerHey everyone, if you're following Eclipse, you might want to head over to TMD as an alternative/substitute for now.
Since I was idling on their IRC channel, I came across this:
[17:57:05] <@Kokizzzle> Hey, I've got some news.
[17:57:34] <@Kokizzzle> I know that some of you already know this, so please ignore this message if you do - but in short, I'm going to be transferring to a university in Japan next semester. This sounds all fine and dandy, but to do this, I need to pass several exams (which I must start studying for immediately once the semester is over) and I also need to work to earn travel fees and other living costs.
[17:57:34] <@Kokizzzle> Subbing already takesup a great deal of time for me; If I were to, say, pick up a full-time job over the summer, spend at minimum four hours a day studying, and keep eight hours aside for sleep, I'd only really have around four hours left in the day. I also need to calculate in socializing(yes, I do actually have a life), eating(I am also human), and it would also be nice to keep an hour or two aside in the day for gym time and oth
[17:57:34] <@Kokizzzle> With that said, I don't know where I could possibly calculate in the 'fansubbing' part.
[17:57:34] <@Kokizzzle> If you're still reading this, you can probably guess by now that I'm quitting the business. It's really been a great time subbing with all of you, and my only regret is that I won't be able to finish the shows I signed up for. Please understand that quitting subbing was my last resort; I really didn't want to have to do this, but I couldn't think of any other alternative. I'll also probably be very busy once I move to Japan.
[17:57:34] <@Kokizzzle> Mentar, you're the person whom I really need to apologize to. You were really excited about Kaichou, and you've always put in so much more work than I have for fansubbing in general. I understand that me dropping all of my shows may possibly lead to Eclipse disbanding.
[17:57:34] <@Kokizzzle> I don't know how I can make up for this, but if you're ever in Tokyo, give me a buzz and I'll show you around. You also owe me a slap in the face when we meet for making this decision, but in the end, I had to choose RL over my hobbies.
As you can see, Kokizzzle is quitting, and was the main translator for Eclipse. They have been looking for another translator to fill in his position, but I have heard no news of it yet.
Consider all shows done by Eclipse to be stalled/delayed/hiatus/etc.

International PerformerNope, it's just a story that doesn't have any ties with the original story.
I just wonder why they call it OVA's though..
But judging from the titles of the OVA 3, it might be parts of the manga that the anime skipped.

that 2nd ova where Hawkeye and Winry had a conversation, isnt it on the anime?

International PerformerNope, OVA 1 and 2 is not apart of the manga!
I just watched OVA 3 and that is also not apart of the manga.
They made stories that randomly fit in, but not actually part of the original storyline.
Think of them as bonus episodes!

OVA means Original Video Animation. Usually if it's an anime its like a sidestory, like a one episode filler. Most of the time though an OVA is a short, episode-sized one-off, like Last Order: Final Fantasy VII.

International PerformerOh, I know what it stands for, I just want to know why they would call it that. It's not "original" to the storyline, and yeah..

Indie ArtistWell, it is original. Sorta. I don't remember reading Blind Alchemist in the manga, and the Simple People OVA is sorta like a side look at why Riza and Winry changed how they looked.

International PerformerI mean yeah, those stuff never happened in the manga, but they are works I wouldn't call "original". Well anyways, let's not get off topic lol.

Indie ArtistAw .shy. That's not as funny though. She should carry on with the housewife thing. It's funny when she says that after doing alchemy without a circle. Most people are like .wtf. after seeing that. After she says that it turns into .stars.
