The two series' stories divert at about the time when they go back to the island they spent a month on so Izumi would teach them. After that, one can't spoil the other.

The first season has got to have been the best "alternate" story of Fullmetal. It was almost flawless, and everything made sense. It satisfied the audience, plus the movie made it that much more better. It's probably the best story not written by the original author.

Take a look at Soul Eater, when it split from the manga, it was terrible.

Well, what I'm trying to say is, as long as someone hasn't watched it, it's still spoiling. Tongue

I'm not saying that spoilers for either series shouldn't be marked, just that one series doesn't spoil the other. I'm of the opinion that not marking spoilers is one of the biggest acts of douchebaggery on the internet.

I understand .happy. I think it's a good idea to be honest, because people do put non-spoiler stuff in the tags. I just thought it was a given in an anime thread that the [Spoiler] tag was for spoilers.

It actually depends. Since these forums don't have episode specific threads, there is only 1 general thread, which shall include spoilers.

If that's the case, then there is basically going to be every post with spoiler tags, regardless of whatever happens.

wah sloth was actually grabbing armstrong's whole body. olivier was badass though, torturing and killing generals like nobody's business. pretty sad she is no alchemist.
FMA is getting into BLEACH style, a few scenes from everyone's battle. cmon mustanggg go and get revenge from envy soon.

anw, i hate the scene in the OP where mustang was drowned and hawkeye's crying in the rain while hugging hayate. An indicator of a bad ending for the pair?
