Sunny Day Sunday. Simply cos of RINA's voice is there

I like three songs from the mini album tbh - Roppongi, Sinky York and Sunny Day Sunday. Out of those, probably a close tie between Sunny Day Sunday because of Rina and Roppongi because of the awesome riffs and Haruna's voice sounds fantastic in English .wow. If I have to choose one then probably Roppongi is probably my favourite song.

i personally love ALL of them!

but if i were to choose 3 of them only, it would be:
number 1: 六本木心中
reason: the guitar solo is AWESOME! kudos to MAMI! and i also loe the part where HARUNA is singing in english!

number 2: secret base～君がくれたもの～
reason: this ballad is really very nice, kinda went emo while listening to it, they sure put in alot effort into this song. (:

number 3: Sunny Day Sunday
reason: cos RINA's voice is just so sweet.. i hope in future live performance, RINA would be able to sing while she drums, i know its pretty hard cos drums is like the main tempo, plus its alr hard to sync the hands and legs for drums, let alone singing while drumming.

also, i always mix up RINA and TOMOMI's voice.. they sound kinda similar.. :/

Roppongi Suicide, definitely. It screams rock n roll! and it does the original justice too!

ALL (though some are teasers, cause i try not to spoil myself by dl-ing it)

by far the songs they have covered and i have listened, my ranks goes like this:

1. Roppongi Shinjuu (come on, a classic pop/rock cover intensified by 10X by SCANDAL! you cannot deny this is one song that can fight Shunkan and MAMI's guitar solo is even better than Nanka Buttobase in this one! simply makes me to jam time and time again)

2. Sunny Day Sunday (short, and simple contains RINA's voice. happy enough to support)

3. Secret Base ~kimi ga kureta mono~, through a cover of ZONE, makes me remember SCANDAL 1st play ballad song. and it does not turn bad at all. this one contains feelings, and the rhythm is nice!

I will not include the two songs that were previously released.

Roppongi Shinjuu - because of HaruTomo vocal combo, and even though they deviate from the original regarding the musical arrangement, they were able to retain the 80's feel to it...

Sinky York - Love the vocal intro part plus Haru's deep vocals

Sunny Day Sunday - Cheerful type of music, it always suits Scandal

now I'm waiting for this song to be performed live and also hoping for a second cover album for the anime songs that they covered

Its really hard to choose coz i like ALL of em!
but if i were to rank the songs,

1 koibito ga santa claus- i like the christmas feeling and its so cute! / secret base - still love this one!
2 sinky york - love the intro!
3 sunny day sunday
4 roppongi suicide
5 rock n roll widow/daydream

this time, i like their album coz it has a girly feel .happy.

yupps, i love 六本木心中 e most! well, we just gotta catch the most dollish voice, that's tomomi's voice, kinda hard since rina's voice also has abit of dollish feeling. :/

third sunny day sunday-It is good especially when all of them are singing

Actually Rina and Tomomi's voice are easily distinguishable... It's Rina and Haruna I have a hard time differentiating.

Tomomi is the only one in the group who has a high voice I think. Haruna has a deep, powerful voice, Mami is basically...err, punk-ish, while Rina is pretty heavy too. Then again, I listen to them everyday too many times O_O

As for my fave songs...

1. Sunny Day Sunday - Just too damn cute XD
2. Koibito ga Santa Claus - I am not sure why I like this song...but the whole song is interesting to me lols.
3. Secret Base - Actually, Secret Base should be number one, but cause I have been listening to it since June, it's not exactly new anymore.

And yeah, for some reason, SCANDAL's other songs are kinda overly-rockish to me. Maybe I have to wait until it grows on me.

Agreed that all the tracks are good, but I can't put a ranking on them because it's a cover album... HA HA! but likewise, I'm putting my hands down for "Secret Base" as usual because it keeps me feeling nostalgic for the good ol'days...

well for me, its hard to distinguish tomomi and rina, and sometimes mami from haruna too! hope to hear more from them, new singles, new album. But i hope they take a break first, they have been working way too hard recently. they gotta take care of themselves somehow. :/

I listened to some samples and yeah, Koibito ga Santa Claus and Sunny Day Sunday are the ones I like the most.

One thing that struck me was how complex and technical the songs are. I'd be really interested to watch live versions of them.

Could it be that our girls have "leveled up" their skills?

ALL!!! Hahahaha.. Oh my it's so hard to choose.. I'll just rank it, excluding Daydream and Secret Base.. From my most favorite to my favorite.. Hahahaha. Honestly, all the songs are so good I can't skip listening to any of it. Hehe

Rock n Roll Widow - Haruna's voice is so great here! Also Tomomi, her voice is not so squeaky in this song. Too bad they omitted the "Aww!" part of the orig song. I really like hearing Haru say "Aww!" in Doll and Space Ranger.

Roppongi Suicide - As you all said, it has a Shunkan feeling. Great vocals from Haru and Tomo. Great solo by Mami.

Sinky York - Simply because it was Haru's solo. Hahahaha. I'll never get tired listening to her voice. A light song. And I love the intro... Ahaaa.. Ahaaa.. Hehehe

Koibito ga Santa Claus - A Rock Christmas Song!!! Sugoi!

Sunny Day Sunday - They all sang in this song. Who would not like that eh? And it's a funny song.
