Oh my god is all I can say.
Drama is about a group of four guys (all played by star actors) trying to lose their virginity. That's all they do the whole drama ! However, there is also a deeper storyline attached, which I won't give away. Lot's of laughs, drama and sexual tension

Wow I've watched more than 150 J-Dramas so I can't list them out, lol.
I watch about 3~5 J-dramas every season, unless I get real busy with work/life.
Though there are sometimes I will still watch after it's all aired -- usually I finish 1 series (8~13 episodes) in 2 days.

I can't recall much but probably only the recent ones I've completed in 2011/2012: Tokyo Zenryoku Shoujo, Akumu-chan, TOKYO Airport, Rich Man Poor Woman, GTO 2012, Majisuka Gakuen 3, Kagi no Kakatta Heya, Papa wa Idol, Mikeneko Holmes no Suiri, Lucky Seven, Hungry!, Saba Doll etc

I wanted to watch the GTO drama, is it good?

If you're referring to the 2012 one, it is good, I give it a 8.5/10
Each episode has a story (well as usual) but does not drag too far away from it.
I recommend it, and GTO 2012 has 3 specials - all of them is nice too, though I have yet to complete the most recent one (aired on 2nd Apr)

Sorry but if you were referring to the 1998 version, I liked it too but watched it on local television in 1999 so I don't really remember much anymore....

by the way , in my case i used watching it without any election. Nowadays i have bin using watching it by election, especially by selecting thous films in witch some me well-known actor (especially actress) is/are playing in. for example some poplar actor/actress : horikita maki, kitagawa keiko, hayase haruka, aragaki yui, kiritani mirei, kitano kii, sakuraba nanami, eikura nana, sasaki nozomi , ishihara satomi , gouriki ayame, tekei emi , takimoto miori , natsuna , okamoto rei, Akb-member , kaname jun, ogori shun , those who belong to Jonny´s(arashi, kat-tun, v6, sexy-zone,TOKIO,SMAP,kiss my ft2,hey say jump etc)
if the actor/actress is playing in a drama i watch it by selecting.
by the way, i also regularly using to watch also the actual films and dramas in TV or internet.

Couple of weeks ago, I finally got around to watching ただ、君を愛してる (Heavenly Forest is the english title)

It confidently made it into my top 10 of all time, and is one of the few films to make me cry by getting me enthralled to a point where I can feel their emotions.

Though I'm not really big on watching k/j dramas (I have a really short attention span, it's a wonder that I can watch anime with more than 5 episodes) I do watch a few j and k movies. My favorite would have to be Love Exposure; but if I were to suggest a PG movie, then Koizora is definitely the way to go.

This is still my fave Japanese movie of all time. Not sure if you guys have seen it already or have mentioned it already in the thread but touching... funny... sweet... and interesting. Let me know what you think yourselves...

for jdrama i have watched legal high with yui aragaki. It took me couple of eps to get into it but i have to say its really funny, the lawyer guy is soo funny and it looks they are coming out with season 2 in few months time! Also bit of a late comer, I am a huge fan of Code Blue, awesome medical drama with yui aragaki, erika toda and yamapi. Highly recommend it!

Film-wise, I loved Suteki na Kanashibari (Once In A Blue Moon) as it genuinely made me laugh. The cast comprised a great number of well-known actors that any Japanese film/drama fan will go hey I know him/her from so-and-so.

Okuribito (Departures - yeah the one that won Best Foreign Oscar) is another just because of its storyline. A bit serious but worth a watch.

As for dramas - I know this is old but I think I can always go back and watch Densha Otoko again.  I guess if I need to name a few more that I felt were outstanding, Shiawase ni Naru You, Boku to Star no 99 Nichi and HanaKimi (the original one with Horikita Maki) would be some of my favourites.
