nodame cantabile live is soo great to watch :D
it's so funny XD
there will be some dramatic scenes, then when you already got your momentum to cry, they will suddenly make you laugh (this happened to me haha!)

My favorite is mostly because Maki Horiktia Plays in it .love.

And for the watching without subs thingy....that was also my target when I started watching anime 2 years ago...and now....
Anyway what I wanted to say is....don't give up! If you don't have to read subtitles, the time you can look at Erika increases by at least 32.14% (tested ! xD well not reallty but I guess you understand what I meant)

I just finished both seasons of Liar Game and Hotaru no Hikari, they were really good!!!!!!!

Watched many dramas in my 4 years since I'd started noticing JDramas and Movies.
Needless to say, there are a couple of dramas and movies that are known so well, most japanese and fans of Japanese would already had been familiar with them.
Movies like the Ring (Ringu) and Battle Royale are well known.

Currently i'm watching:
-Yankee-kun to Megane-chan drama, I really like the manga so I wanted to watch the live-action.
-Nodame Cantabile, both the anime and live-action, finding myself watching it over and over again. 4 times, and I haven't really gotten bored with it. I'd already watch the first movie and awaiting for subbed 2 movie. sad to hear it's ending, but all things come to an end.

Recently, I'd watched:
-Engine
-Pride
-Beautiful Life, not really a romance-type, but this show really got to me.
-Good Luck!, a great show about pilots and stewardess and airlines.

Movies that struck me recently is Secret (Himitsu) (1999). The story is really weird but interesting, plus Ryoko Hirosue is very cute in it.
Departures (2009) was also really good.

if 5cm per second is count as JMovies i would go with that, and Summer wars.

for live actions, only watched some, i like Crows Zero 1,2,

andim currently waitin for Gantz (Film) this 2011

I'd watched Umizaru, the movie-drama-movie. Now I'm waiting for the 2010 movie, Umizaru 3, to come out on video with english subtitle.

Anyone ever watch 'Majisuka Gakuen'?
It's played by AKB48 member. The story was pretty unique, it's about a school which all of the students are a girl. Well, not just a 'girl', but a 'bad girl'. They're all figthing with each other and in my opinion it's cool
