So it's basically a story about a boy(Ichijou Raku) who promised to marry a girl when they are older (since they're 5 years old at the time).However you must know that Raku is not your ordinary boy with good grades but he's actually heir to a Yakuza gang. -skip to 10 year later- Complication arises when Yakuza gang and another gang (more like mafia since they're foreign) decide to make a treaty to stop the war between them. Raku the forced to date Kirisaki Chitoge, the daughter of the mafia's head. However, Chitoge is a complete opposite of Raku (except the smartness) to add trouble Raku is actually suspects Onodera Kosaki (his classmate) as the girl that he promised 10 years ago.

The manga basically has triangle love as a foundation however, Nisekoi also worth reading because:
1. The characters' background (rather unique)
2. Good humor
3. The interactions. As any other shounen-romance-school life based manga, it follows the line of harem at first glance however with Raku's personality I don't think the manga will end up as harem. I just get the feeling that he have to choose one of the girls.

When he enters high school, he has to date a girl named Kirisaki Chitoge in order to ease tensions between his and her families. However, at the same time, he’s reunited with Onodera. Ichijou’s high school life opposite to his expectations starts!

- recent chapter actually tell us that Chitoge, Raku, and Onodera are childhood friends (for 1 summer only though). And there's a very big chance that Chitoge (not Onodera) is the girl that Raku promised.
Plus: The promised girl is not Onodera or Chitoge? Big revelation!
