@Tony - oh haha, there's a facial cleanser called "papwash" and I was thinking "Why would he need to wash his face after carrying Acchan" haha. I was confused so I decided to ask. I've never even noticed that there was an emoticon called Papawash. lol I've never used it. Anyway, thanks for the info

Woah! Acchan speaking Mandarin! That will be interesting to see.
Woah! AKB48's song "Sugar Rush" will be in the Disney Movie "Wreck-it Ralph"!!!!
Their song will be the ending theme and will be in the world-wide movie, not just the Japanese-dubbed movie.
I was already planning on watching it, because it has a few famous video game characters, but this makes me want to watch the movie even more!
Maybe this will help AKB48 gain world-wide popularity! or at least more popularity.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
EDIT:
Man, the riots in China are not looking any better. They are being told to kill and rape the Japanese people who are living in China and to boycott or destroy anything that is Japanese. They are flipping over Japanese cars, hurting Japanese people, and lighting Japanese businesses on fire. I really hope SNH48, Sae, and Mariya won't get pulled into this nonesense. I hope things in China will calm down, and I hope Japan won't do things like that to their Chinese citizens, or else things will get worse.

Sure.
There is a free streaming software called Niji that is free and you can get here (http://www.myniji.tv/). It let's you stream japanese channels. Unfortunetly not in the greatest HD quiality. But it's decent.
The Janken is being streamed on a show called Kayoukyoku on TBS. I think it starts at 19:00 Japanese standard time (JST) so you have to convert the time to your own.
I hear there are other streaming software you can use to for the same show, but I have never used them.

Shiroten PerformerAaand the winner is!!
Shimazaki Haruka!
Not too thrilled actually, the broadcast was pretty messy. I was rooting for Milky since my oshimen (Yuria) didn't make it in but she lost her first match and I didn't even get to see it.
Then I started rooting for Tano Yuka or Fujie Reina but as soon as I did that they both lost -.-
Really wanted someone to win that wasn't in the senbatsu. Technically that happened but Paru is getting a big push from Aki-P with the Majisuka Series and also in general. She didn't really need the win.
Here is the rest of the people that made it into senbatsu:
Uchida Mayumi
Itano Tomomi
Kimoto Kanon
Takeuchi Miyu
Nito Moeno
Umeda Ayaka
Shinoda Mariko
Maeda Ami
Yokoyama Yui
Nakata Chisato
Ueno Kasumi
Abe Maria
Kashiwagi Yuki
Nakamura Mariko
Matsubara Natsumi
Shimazaki Haruka!

@shark - thanks!
I had a strange feeling that Paruru was going to win. lol
The list looks pretty good. My oshimen Yui-han is in there, so that's good.
I'm going to be watching Abe Maria. I feel like I have some kind of connection to her because my mom's side of the family is Abe.

International PerformerIt was in yesterday's papers that Yasushi Akimoto ( AKB48's Boss and founder ) has filed a
law suit against Shukan Shincho for damages of 110 million yen for an article he wrote claiming
AKB were started with 'dirty money'.
With the importance of manners in Japan and fear of offending people this is quite an unusual step
and Akimoto is obviously very upset about it.

Caless Student@tonymiller, I just kinda got into them this summer so I'm still very new. Watched AKBingo and started to like them. Too bad not earlier or I could of tried seeing them when they were in Washington DC but my favs weren't there but still would of loved to see the others as well.
Re: AKB48
Posted Fri Sep 21, 2012 3:22 pm
@Bushido - I got into them pretty recently too. I started listening to AKB48 a few weeks after I discovered SCANDAL and SKE48 during the spring of this year. I knew about AKB since 2009 and watched some episodes of AKBingo and a few pranks, but I never really cared for their music much at that time. I just thought the shows were really funny.
Takamina is my kami oshi, but Yui Yokoyama, Yuko Oshima, and Rena Matsui are my other oshimen.

The magazine headlines really made me mad !
'Acchan scandal' !
A 21 year old girl had too much to drink...big deal !
She will not be foolish enough to have a drinking contest with Yuko Oshima another time

@tony - yeah I agree. I was kinda angry at the headlines too. Just because they are famous...There are 21 year old girls who do that everywhere. There's even kids younger than that getting drunk every weekend. On a side note. Every time I saw that headline "Acchan Scandal" I kept thinking of Acchan and SCANDAL, the band. As a matter of fact, every time I see the word "Scandal" the first thing that pops up in my head is the band.
@goldenarms - I really like your signature! Its really cool.
@topic - I feel like I keep finding AKB48 songs every other day. Its like a treasure hunt haha. They have so many songs. I don't think I'll ever be able to listen to every single one of them.

I admire you but you have a huge task !
I have 27 singles, 4 albums and many DVD's, even I dont try to buy all the stuff by their sub groups
as well, they have something new coming out every few weeks !
No3b is my favourite sub group :
Minami Minegishi
Minami Takahashi
Haruna Kojima
Just enjoy them, dont make it like a task, even I have no idea how many songs AKB have done altogether, it must be a lot !
I also liked French Kiss but now one of their three members ( Akicha, Aki Takajo ) has been banished to JKT48 I guess they are no more.
