I hear some studies of Japanese people showing the interest for dating and such have gone down in recent years. Don't know what age group this is or if it is in general. Not just in Japan, but in China also.

But I don't doubt all the girls will find love at some point in their lives.

I think relationships would probably be kind of hard, especially since they are busy touring and making music. They wouldn't have a whole lot of time spending time with other people. The music business is a tough thing.

Yeah, I agree. Considering they are really busy at the moment with tours, live performances and their new single coming out I don't really think they would have the time to be in a committed relationship.

Im really bothered by how a girls band could have less fans if the members have boyfriends.

I became a Scandal fan because of their music, and have stayed for that only. That being said, I think they prob have had past boyfriends as some songs lyrics hint towards that possibility.

But at the moment? they can't manage to have one IMO, because as earlier stated by the guys above they are tooooooo busy to do so, and yeah, they'll probably loose number of fans who think of them as an idol group or something.

From the content of the songs they've written it's pretty obvious all of them have had their fair share of romance... though I have a theory that Rina's feelings can be also the effect of her romantic novels it won't be a shock that if one day these girls reveal they're dating someone or that they've dated someone before.
Sometimes a celebrity's statement could be either a little exaggerating or not really true at that, so that thing about Rina saying she doesn't know a guy's number could well lol be false statement. Although SCANDAL isn't idol I think we are all aware that they have a couple of otaku (well wota) fans so it's likely the reason why these girls barely talk about something this personal.

Just the on road lifestyle would probably make it impossible. But maybe they have friends that are or are getting close to them with email and the like. I hope they have some one at least a guy friend. The aoidol life always seems so lonely to me. But one good thing about the ban on personal relationships is no K Feds
