Yamazaki Aoi make her debut with an album titled “Tsunagaru” on August 22nd.
Yamazaki Aoi is an 18-year-old college student from Sapporo. When she was 16 years old, she took both first place and the special judges’ prize in the YAMAHA-sponsored talent search “The 3rd Music Revolution“. AKB48’s producer Akimoto Yasushi, who participated as a judge in the contest, had nothing but praise when asked about the young singer. “The quality of her music, and her wording is especially wonderful,” he said enthusiastically.
Her debut album will include the title track “Tsunagaru”, which was limited to 1000 copies when it was produced as an indie work, as well as the YAMAHA CM song “FAIR WIND” and “Yume no Naka“, which won her the grand prize in “The 3rd Music Revolution”.
Before becoming a professional singer, she is also a fan of YUI was once a vocalist from a indie band from Sapporo, "The Punch Clock"
