Scrolling through that Twitter feed it looks like she's been ill, but I couldn't find any information that stated from what. Hope she's okay and returns. It is quite a voice to lose.

She's definitely out of the band. My wife (who knows more about her than I do) did tell me what her illness was but I cannot remember it right now. It's something that is probably going to permanently affect her voice, though. I do remember when my wife told me about it saying to her that she could always go back to singing punk music because you don't need a precise voice with a lot of range; that's what she was doing before Aldious.
It is sad, though. She's a really nice, warm person who I got the sense when I met her felt a little out of place in Japan, and I think she had finally found something she felt a part of with Aldious.

Indie ArtistAccording to Toki's post, they will have a big national tour coming with guest vocalist. We will see. Reno's voice got me into Aldous, so sweet and harmonious for this style of music. Well, Nightwish found a vocalist who got me interested in them (again). So... Any news and information is appreciated.

Her tweet. So she is a fan after all.

I have heard many times. But I can say that I'm not very impressed. I like the former vocalist Re:NO much more, her voice was unique. R!N can sing powerful, yes, but her voice is too standard for me.izzy wrote:I really like to hear the old songs with RiN's voice

Indie ArtistTo be honest I was not a huge fan of Re:No... her image and personality was not my taste. I think R!N is the perfect mix between the two previous vocalist and I think she will help the band to expand their activities worldwide.

I understand your opinion. I have been following this band a long time and I have several friends who fully support your opinion. But some people support Re:NO as me. Someone love Re:NO, someone not. From myself I want to add that Aldious with Re:NO was my favorite Japanese band. With her leaving, I no longer feel this. This is really sad for me. Now, I am just happy that I could to see concerts with her that I never forget.izzy wrote:To be honest I was not a huge fan of Re:No... her image and personality was not my taste. All the Aldious vocalists sound amazing to me, but imo Re:No is the more charismatic of the first two. She really owns the stage during lives and her closeness with Toki can be seen. Haven't seen enough of R!n live yet (would like to see "I Wish For You" live!), so am looking forward to more from Aldious.
It's a pity they don't seem to tour in Asia much, outside of Japan. I would kill to go to one of their lives [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I agree that we haven't seen much of R!n in action. But I don't like the strategy chosen by the group after Re:NO leaving. Now they want to release a second album of covers of the old songs. In my opinion R!n can't sing better than Re:NO those songs. And they must to write new material for the new vocalist. But we have only 1 new song after this period.
About the concerts, finally, for the first time, they were supposed to go to 3 cities in Europe in October, but everything was canceled because of the virus. I am waiting when they introduce new dates.
