Hey everyone! Taro here from Singapore o/

I've been lurking around here unregistered for years, pretty much since STANDARD came out and I was learning some songs with my friends. Sadly, we don't jam anymore these days and I'm now horribly out of practice lol. 

When LUMINOUS came out, I heard the tracks and decided I wanted to get back into playing exciting stuff (for me) again. I'm slowly working through learning SCANDAL's basslines again to play for fun.

It's not so much that I find people scary (though sometimes they are...), it's just that I'm really bad at joining conversations haha

Oh and I play Bass guitar like Tomomi, I also thought it would be easier as it only has four strings

I wish I could say that was the reason why I started playing, but it was partly because no one else was interested at all and I thought, "yeah, maybe I don't mind... and it does sound nice." Apparently, the guitarists I was jamming with thought it would be easier for me since I have the most flexible hands so they just never said anything.

I'm totally just feeding into the stereotype that no one picks playing the bass as their first choice haha

But Tomomi does not have that problem and she has a really cute voice.

Yes! We covered a few songs from different bands and stuff but one of the things that kept me interested in SCANDAL from back then was really their stage energy in live performances, so Tomomi is also arguably my favourite if I had to pick. I'm about the same height as her and honestly, being able to appreciate the weight of something that is literally longer than 2/3 your height, it's horrifyingly hard to be active with it hanging from your neck.
