Hello, everyone!
Woah, time flies, I've known Scandal for a decade now! I've been visiting this website from time to time, but today I finally decided to create an account.
I first found Scandal while checking out Japanese music after I was recommended another band that I really liked - Stereopony, if any of you know about them! So I naturally came accross Scandal.
It was 2013, so, the first song that popped up was Awanai Tsumori no, Genki de ne, and I got into the band because of that song and the other popular ones (the anime songs, basically). Since I was a teenager back then (I'm a 2000 kid, heh), I really resonated with their youthful music and became a big fan. I got to see them live in the YELLOW tour in 2016, when they performed in Spain, where I'm from!
A few years have passed and my music taste changed a lot, and so did Scandal! Personally, I'm very satisfied with the sound shift they had since Take me Out (which is one of my fave songs!) towards a more adult focused style. Nowadays, my favourite albums are HONEY, Kftd, MIRROR and LUMINOUS! Actually, the reason they're still my most-listened-to artist on Spotify is because I listen to a lot of their post-10th anniversary music, but I still enjoy (a lot) their older stuff from time to time! Queens are trumps is one of my faves, and there are some songs in BABY ACTION and STANDARD that really get me still.
Summarizing (what an essay I'm writing, sorry lol), thanks to Scandal's extensive career, constant evolution and lack of fear for trying new things, they have definitely been the most present musical artist in my life. I'm not one to choose favourites, but if I'm asked which my fave artist is, it's ultimate that the first one I'm saying is SCANDAL! And they probably are, they're the only ones I pre-order the albums of before release (I have complete faith in this band, heh).
And on an end note, I really hope I can see them live in their next world tour now that I'm kind of an independent adult (xD)! It still makes me sad that I wasn't able to go to their previous two tours, specially the MIRROR one, because I madly love the serene and ethereal concept of that album! (I see a lot of overseas fans who dislike it and that makes me sad ).
And that's all! Nice to meet you all passionate Scandal fans!
