All of you pretty much hit it on the mark. Singing while playing the drums is near impossible lol. And Rina has a nice...medium-baritone voice, it's kind of a mix between Mami and Haruna. Pleasant on the ears. XD

Wondering why people think that a drummer can not drum and sing at the same time?

One example of a musician is Phil Collins, who was a drummer in the band, Genesis, then started his solo career. He sang many of the songs while playing drums and was very good at it!

Basically, it comes down to the individual. If that drummer can drum and sing at the same time, then it's great for them and for their fans!

If Rina can do it, then let's all cheer her on Nice one

You gotta admit that it would be difficult. Drumming, unless you have a talent for it, can require a lot of concentration and to do that and there aren't very many who do both.

Only ones I can name are the drummer of an Orlando band called the Supervillains (great listen if you enjoy ska/reggae) and Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.

Maybe it depends on the music/beat the drummer is playing?? As we all heard, almost all of SCANDAL's song are hyper and energetic, so we can't really expect Rina to sing while banging the drums like crazy.

Anyway, the mini-album will be out tomorrow.. I hope it will be a success!! .clap.

So that's what the R stands for... RESPECT-GIRL's ROCK. Cool concept.

SCANDAL certainly paid their respects through the covers they made. And paid them abundantly, at that. :P

Now I seriously can't wait for the album. I'm especially looking forward to hearing "Roppongi Shinju" and "Rock 'N' Roll Widow" in their entirety. They're already my early favorites after watching the videos. \m/
