Is anyone else looking forward to Elden Ring? The game is the next big title from Hidetaka Miyazaki and From Software (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro). It's intended to be an open world spiritual successor to the Dark Souls series.
Miyazaki is apparently a fan of George R.R. Martin's work (A Song of Ice and Fire) and asked him to collaborate to create a game world. GRRM agreed several years ago and now we have Elden Ring.
Personally, I'm pretty hyped. I'm a huge fan of From Software's other games and this one looks like it'll be taking their usual formula and dialing it up to 11. The sense of exploration in From Software's games is always massive, and I can't wait to see that applied to an open world. And the art design is downright gorgeous. It's almost like walking through a painting.
Please note that the game is rated 17+ and the gameplay preview below shows footage from the game. There's nothing too extreme in this preview. But it's still worth mentioning. So if you have young ones around or you're at work, I recommend waiting to watch the video.
