No... I'm not really enthusiastic for this new song, I don't like this new "City Pop" sound but I think it's great that they try some new things... sometimes.
I'm just a little bit disappointed by the last 3 singles, not really the kind of songs I like the most from Scandal.

I loved it when I first heard it live and it just seems to get better every time I've heard it since.

It doesn't hurt to have a bit of musical diversity in the locker either, stops things getting stale.

Got to agree with you. The last three have not been big winners for me (and I already know I don't like the other new song they played in the recent concert).

Finally listened to it in the radio broadcast they had (or whatever it was), and it's not a bad song but I'm not particularly excited about it. The guitar sounds pretty cool, but I can do without the wash of keyboards (especially in the beginning), and the synthesized hand claps (if they are real hand claps then the EQ on this really stinks). Where's the bass? For a funky, dance song the bass should be a bit more prominent, especially during the middle break where it was just keyboards (blah).

And speaking of EQ and synthesizers: Scandal has gotten to the point with their new songs that it's hard for me to tell how much of the drumming is actually Rina and not a programmed beat. I tried listening for little nuances to indicate she's playing a kit, and there weren't much to recall. I accept I can be completely wrong with this suspicion/assessment, but it doesn't sound to me like she put in the same kind of effort as she did for something like "Take Me Out." It doesn't swing. It's robotic.

On the positive end, there was no autotune!

I heard it for first time, it no my cup of tea. I am not major fan of dance/pop apart from few songs. I notice on CD Japan they have not sold out the single yet, once it get playing on the radio, the song will find fans in that type of music. MAMI dance

I have not heard One More Time aside from snippet in their latest diary video. But even from this bit I have to admit, that it probaby won't be one of my favorites.

I'm more curious about the other new song they played on their anniversary gig. Could somebody tell me, which previous Scandal songs that one might sound like, so that I can have at least some idea?

The claps sound very artificial, why have synthesized hand claps when you can just do the real thing... The more they record themselves, the better.

I remember being somewhat underwhelmed by the song when they played it on their livestream concert but finally checked out the studio version.

I think it's adorable.

SCANDAL's new single one more time is releasing today, September 29th! It'll be available to stream via Spotify, etc. when your time zone hits midnight.

Also, the band just said on Instagram that the music video will be premiering on Wednesday, October 6th.

I think the Party version is cool, but I still prefer the original. Overall a very cool/catchy song

Any idea why they delayed the video release by a week? That's a pretty weird move, considering the videos were released at the same time before. They didn't have time to edit it...?

No one outside of their team is going to know the reason. But something obviously wasn't ready on time, whether it be something related to editing, or the band wanted to change/fix something about it.

I wasn't a very huge fan of the song when I heard it during the concert, but after hearing the studio version on Catch Up and now officially on iTunes, I think it's an adorable song. I absolutely love it. Of course there's nothing extreme and special going on as for the sound and the lyrics, but overall it lifts and brightens up the mood and I love the vibe of it. Have been listening on repeat since the release.

I also like the album art, probably one of my favorites. Can't wait for the MV as well. From the teaser looks super cute and fun! HARU heart

I just wish they released it at the same time as the audio. But I guess they had stuff to fix(?)

Loving the Party version of the song, the clapping sounds more natural, the bass is clearer and Haruna's yeahs and nananas add a nice touch. I'm already anticipating them performing it at some sort of special live.

In fact, I can't help but dance to both versions.

The MV preview gives off the same happy, fun vibe as that of Stamp!... which is awesome cos Stamp! is one of my favourite Scandal MVs of all time. Can't wait!

「one more time」 is such a fun song! at first having heard the "Shake it up, baby" part is a bit cringe for me but gradually liking it now. even the party version is really nice too. the MV is so chill and looks like they really had fun shooting! i love every part of it. all in all, this is a good and enjoyable song to dance to that gives you good vibes! MAMI dance

the MV made me love the song even more! probably my top 5 favorite music videos for sure and I really think it is better than Stamp! even tho it's one of my all time favorite videos of them. The vibe, the colors and idk just everything about this mv is amazing. The only right way I could describe it is A major serotonin boost haha
