I'm not really into punk rock but I enjoy watching these gorgeous women dressed like partying in the summer of 1969 while playing no-nonsense, noise rock from 2019. They indirectly get rid of my depressive mood, LOL!

OTOBOKE BEAVER is a punk rock band formed in 2009 when members were enrolled at the Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. The band is named after a love hotel somewhere in Osaka.

The original members were Accorinrin on lead vocals, Yoyoyoshie on guitar, Pop on drums, and Nishikawachi on bass. Hiro-Chan and Kahokiss joined the band in 2013 and 2018 respectively.

from left to right:
Kahokiss - drums & backing vocals
Yoyoyoshie - guitar & backing vocals
Accorinrin - lead vocals & lyricist
Hiro-Chan - bass & backing vocals

Their songs feature love and relationships as regular themes, often based on singer Accorinrin's own experiences.

I've known them for about a year. Not a fan, but they really have some pretty interesting and unusual stuff

Saw/met them two years ago in Leeds. Stood slap bang in front of Hiro-chan. At one point I helped Hiro-chan with her mic stand after they entered the mini mosh pit to play Binge Eating Binge Drinking Bulimia after which she clasped my hands to...
