Can't imagine this hasn't been asked before, but very curious. You get to interview SCANDAL- what question(s) would you put to them, individually or as a group? I could come up with dozens just on impulse, but please limit response to 5.

So much questions to ask... if only it was possible !?  .happy.


For all the members : 

- Now that you have created your own label, is the recording of the new album different from the previous one? More freedom in the creative process?

- Tell us about the gear you use on stage and in the studio?

- When will the next album be released !!?  


For Mami : 

- Last year, you moved from your Marshall amps to the Bogner Ecstasy, why did you choose this amp?

- Can you explain to us how you work on song demos, do you compose alone until you get a full song or do you involve other band members right from the beginning of songwriting? (same question for Rina)

For Haruna : 

- You seem very comfortable with the words written by Rina, does she ask you your opinion when she writes the lyrics?

For Rina : 

- You communicate a lot on social networks and Scandal's blog. With your own label is it even more important to keep in touch with the fans?

For Tomomi : 

- With the song Mabataki you started singing again with Haruna, will there be another duet song on the next album?

I know you all agree that we hope and pray for their continued happiness and success in every aspect of their private and professional lives. But on a selfish level, I hope it's many years before they quit touring.
I want to see them live again (and again and again!) so bad it sends shivers through me!

If you were all stranded on a deserted island and had to eat one member of the band, who would it be and why? And how? And what SCANDAL song would you listen to while doing it? And, afterwards, when you released a smash-hit single about the experience, describe the non-specifics of the "Feedback!" outfits you'd wear in the accompanying music video...

To whole band: Which Singer/Band is your current favorite?

For the whole band:

How do you girls calm your nerves before you go on stage? Do you have a specific ritual you have always stuck to since you began gigging?

I think I can imagine the answers to most of the questions I can think of right off. The interview would go something like this:

Me: Who can burp the loudest?
Mami: Why were you looking at me when you asked that?
Rina: What an interesting question! Thank you for asking it. It's given me a lot to think about!
Haruana: (Looks around room, pretending she didn't hear the question.)
Tomomi: We're ladies, and never do things like that.

Me: Who gets recognized the most when you're out and about?
Mami: Why were you looking at me when you asked that?
Rina: Mami
Haruna: Mami
Tomomi: Mami

Me: Do you sometimes get too much attention from your fans when you're out and about?
Mami: Why were you...... yeah, maybe a little.
Rina: No, we love our fans and we're always happy to meet them.
Haruna: No, we love our fans and we're always happy to meet them.
Tomomi: No, we love our fans and we're always happy to meet them.
Mami: Yeah, that's what I meant to say, sorry.

Me: In the "Image" video, your superhero costumes included some pretty wild boots. Do you still have them?
Mami: Why were you looking at me when you asked that?
Rina: Why yes. I wear them around the house sometimes. Just them, tee hee.
Haruna: I think I gave them to charity.
Tomomi: I gave mine to my mom. She loves them.

Me: Who is the most skillful liar?

The big question for me, and one I can't imagine the answer to is: have you put away enough money to live comfortably and independently for the rest of your lives, or has the last decade gotten you nothing but stale bentos in countless ugly backstage rooms, sweat, tears, short fingernails, and all-too-brief moments of shining glory?
In other words, has it been worth it?

I wouldn't even know what to say. If it's a M&G I think I would be like "Arigatooo for jumping and performing" (they should understand that )

With an interpretor I think I would ask them how it feels to play for 400 fans in a small club in Berlin in comparison to 10,000 fans on a festival in Japan. I hope they feel familiar. I will do my very best to make them feel like we are Family
