SCANDAL appeared on the BARK STAGE. This past January, SCANDAL established their private label 「her」 under Victor Entertainment's Colourful Records imprint. This was their first time appearing at Victor Rock Matsuri.

With HARUNA's sharp cutting they kicked off with 「Platform Syndrome」. Tightening up their four-piece sound, they followed up with 「Take Me Out」 where RINA helmed the sudden uptick in the band's voltage with her rapid drumming. The quartet's brimming spirits materialized in their performance, and HARUNA spoke about the reason for it during an MC. Today was SCANDAL's first live show of 2019, and 「Since we're finally part of Victor, we decided that our first show would be at 『Victory Rock Matsuri』」.

Even after entering the second half of their set, their momentum sped up rather than petered out. Shocked by the excessive explosivity of 「LOVE SURVIVE」, HARUNA took our her ear monitors and showed a bright smile after confirming the singing voices of the audience - such an impressive sight.

Their final song performed was 「Masterpiece」, which will be released on 3/27 as their first single on 「her」. When the band performs this song that HARUNA introduced as 「The song of our new beginning」, it's quite apparent—with MAMI, jumping around while swinging her pigtails; TOMOMI, spinning around on the spot; and RINA, mouthing along to the lyrics with a smile on her face—that the band enjoys playing music from the bottom of their hearts. SCANDAL, playing heavy but fresh sounds, is currently sparkling radiantly. There's something very touching about them growing up to be a very charming band.
