Aussie fan here. Thought it was time I joined up (had tried a coupla times previously but the little security thing would bomb out on me - dunno why it worked this time).

Not much to tell. I'm into Scandal. My favourite way to enjoy their stuff is to smash a few drinks, fire up the projector & stezza (stereo) and let the neighbours know I'm back in town.

I've somehow managed to turn a few of my mates into fans this way, which is kinda funny since we're usually into much more "macho" alternative or classic rock and punk kinda music. That and we're probably a little older than your average Scandal fans.

Big thanks for those responsible for this site and for the facebook group - its how I keep abreast of Scandal happenings. Sadly, none of them are happening in my neck of the woods. I might have to bring the party to them someday.

First off, great name-- and yes, her jutting ears are what helps to make her so adorable.

Personally I have no problem mixing Scandal in with AC/DC and Rose Tattoo, and they also pair well with one of my favorite childhood metal bands from Oz, Heaven.  We're probably in good company.

Don't worry about the age.  I'm on the higher end, too; and since I'm more than old enough, I toast a KB Lager to you from crazy Hollywood.  Welcome.

The nickname: I had such a time trying to register (took 3 browsers) that my name was a purely spur of the moment thing, since I was doubtful it would even work. Ha. A coupla years or so ago I borrowed the boss's car while mine was getting serviced and unintentionally left a Scandal CD in there with the stereo at full volume.

He still reminds me of the near-heart attack it gave him to this day.

Wasn't sure where to put this throwaway anecdote so I figured I best just stick it in my own thread. Maybe some poor soul will stumble in here, lost, and discover it years from now. And be amazed...

Anyway, I remember a couple of years after first getting into Scandal and I was kicking back and watching their videos (again), in particular the one for Koi Mayou. Anyway, suddenly something in the background caught my eye. It was one of a few records that had been mounted on a wall. This one:

Quiet night last night so I eventually dove into some Scandal - even though we may have already done so the night before. It's kinda hazy. Started fooling around with my new camera and, well, this should give you an idea of what our Scandal parties are like (minus the party)...
