In the past, we've largely done FLPs by physically printing out digital submissions on paper ourselves or collecting them in person at shows, and then inserting the papers into plastic sleeves.

However, this time we'll be printing out a professionally done photo book, which will be paid for with the donations that have been generously given by SH members (thanks so much!). That means that we will require all submissions to be DIGITAL.

Guidelines:

• You may submit things such as, but not limited to, letters, drawings, and collages.

• You may submit as many things as you want.

• For letters, you can either submit plain text, or design a page on a program like Photoshop.

• Letters must be written in English or Japanese (or French, if you're writing to RINA!).

• The size of each page must be 8.5 x 11 inches, vertical.

• Type of files accepted: .jpg or .pdf

• Please make your image resolution at least 300 DPI.

• Everything must be family-friendly—you may not submit anything inappropriate.

I'll  definitely send something in ! I  already have a drawing I did a couple years ago of Tomomi and I have wanted to due a drawing of Mami for a while now so this will give ne a kick in the backside to get that done!

For privacy reasons, I will not be posting any of the submissions at all. I don't think everyone would want their submissions to be shown so freely to the public.

I will, however, like always, post small images of the photobook pages once I receive the finished book.

Might be a bad idea but I wrote something in japanese using my little knowledge and with the help of google translate. Could someone check to me if it's ok?

I personally would have no time to check it, but feel free to just submit it anyway! A lot of people have submitted Google Translated-letters for past projects. Google Translate can actually be pretty accurate, so I'm sure the band would generally understand what you're trying to say.

Hi Jade. I'm also planning to do that because my Japanese is still mechanical at best. By the way, I want to ask if it's allowed to use single words and/or brief phrases from languages other than English, Japanese and French (for Rina) just to emphasize points or to show enthusiasm from our own language? Like saying 'thank you' in Filipino to make them feel we are thankful that they finally came here after much awaiting.
Of course, I'll understand and will cooperate if it's not allowed. Thanks in advance!
