Awww, the Japanese women's Rugby team falied to get any points in their first game against us ( GB )

The US news media are using the total medal count instead of gold medal count to rank the countries lol, anyway im really just watching the basketball games and anything else I catch on TV is just a plus. Good luck to all the teams!

@Lexian: Yo, you forgot to put the Can Ada there. We be at 17th place with a bronze medal yo. (As of August 6th). 

I didn't even notice that the Olympics have started, I guess because there was hardly any hype for it. Also, there has been a lot of negativity regarding the games because of the environmental factors and some of the athletes being robbed. 

Oh well, hopefully the negativity will be overshadowed by the true sportsmanship and fun the athletes will have during the next two weeks.

Similar to what I did for London 2012, I'm only doing top 5 countries following the gold-medal ranking that the official Olympic medal tables use...Plus Japan for those folks who wanna see how SCANDAL's homeland fares.

@tony: Of course, Canada is mostly good at winter sports anyways. Technically, we have two seasons which are... Winter and Construction.

Finally, we bagged a Silver medal a few days ago! Thanks to powerlifter Haidie Diaz! The Philippines' 20-year Olympic medal drought has finally ended! :D

Unfortunately, all of our boxers are eliminated. T_T

My country (Serbia) will probably end up 1st or 2nd in group. I think Hungary is our biggest competitor in this group.

We are 1. in our group in volleyball yay
