Haha, yes I did heard the preview it does sound really cool, and different from the rest. But it was only 30 secs and we can't get back to the Amazon page anymore, (╥﹏╥) have to wait till a longer version or something .

Even though they all compose, it doesn't mean there is an even split of the songwriting duties.  I remember seeing an interview where they mentioned they all record demos of songs and ideas and I'm sure they get together and share them as a lot of other bands do.  They probably pick the best songs or ones which fit the direction or theme of the album.  That doesn't mean that the songs they don't pick suck.  "Hikare" and "S.L. Magic" are just two examples of great songs that didn't make it on an album.  We may get to hear some Haruna compostitions as B-sides.

Really nice video :D

I'm looking forward to March* for two reasons.. This New album, but I also ordered Scandal's R-Girls Rock cover album

So in the MV it showed that there are 5 episodes. I wonder if there will be more versions since it says "See you next time" in the end.



Edit: Ok so Episode 1 is the Station part, then they show the setting for Episodes 2-5 and the members get one episode each.

I bet Rina wishes she had her full drum kit… .shy.

It depends on what shipping option you go with. In my experience, items sent by FedEx typically arrive on the day of release if you order it by the weekend before the item's out. EMS probably has close to the same time frame. The other options are slower and vary from 5 days to 3 weeks.

After watching both parts of the pizza party, I'm really looking forward to YELLOW...!
It's a lot better than the leak from Amazon...w

While it's a little disappointing that Haruna didn't have any songs by her included and no solo songs this time around, YELLOW looks like it'll be a solid release that shows how much they have grown as a band until now. That Mami & Rina comparison to Lennon & McCartney seems spot on!

As expected, Heaven na Kibun is probably at the top of my "looking forward to list." While I was hoping that they'll experiment with some Japanese instruments, I like that they tried for an oriental sounding rhythm.  The grungy sound just amplifies my excitement!  Surprisingly, LOVE caught my attention.  I wasn't expecting Tomomi to write a reggae-styled song.  I'm really liking its island song sound.

Now for LOVE ME DO....
Normally, I don't really listen to poppy sounding love songs.  Usually, the only love songs I listen to are sad and painful, or somewhat dark.  LOVE ME DO is just so catchy and well made, yet still somewhat different from the usual pop-styled love songs.  These kinds of songs are good once in a while, isn't it? w
Also, I'm kinda glad people pointed out the cowbell....It's nice, isn't it?  Who else thinks it needs more cowbell? www


OK, stupid references aside...as for the MV, I liked it's colorful, pop setting.  Not to mention, it's really, really cute...w Very 60's/70's-ish.  As pointed out, it also reminded me of Ninagawa Mika's style.  The various SCANDAL references were a plus.  It was easy to feel a little jealous of the guy, but I kinda felt sorry for him at the end....w

Heh, I'm glad I wasn't the only who noticed that their eyes seemed bigger.  Maybe it was the make-up, but Rina's usual big, round eyes seemed overwhelming powerful this time.  Almost hypnotic....

The amazon previews really gave a disappointing judgement on some of the songs but after watching both parts I must say Heaven na Kibun and LOVE are the songs I am looking for. SCANDAL taking on Grunge and reggae is a huge plus meaning they are once again stepping out of their comfort zone.

After "Sisters", this video is definitely one for their guy fans.

I like the video and the song's ok for what it is, but I'm really waiting with bated breath for their next hard rock single or video. It feels like it's really been a while, and that's their bread and butter. The last three videos have all been pop (I guess "Stamp!" is debatable, but to me it sounds total pop.) I don't mind the occasional pop song and they've had that for a while, but I'm just left a bit unsatisfied recently. Hopefully the album itself is more rocking.

What I find the most intriguing is that, despite Yellow being the first album where they've written every song (with 90% being composed by Mami) I feel like it will be even more diverse and all-over-the-place than any of their previous ones where they had a bunch of different people working on it. That's just so great IMO.

Also I think calling "Stamp!" a pop song is stretching it a bit, plus the b-sides were more on the rock side of things.
