Ok so, here is my biggest complaint: why are phones having more screen time than MAMI?
I also have a question, are those girls models or famous or something? I saw their twitter accounts and they have like thousands of followers, there is no way they are normal fans. I would have prefered the fans to be the protagonists, but again, I couldn't fully understand the posts. I wanted to see more the other fans that were there.
For me it is an ok video. Compared to Stamp!, where I thought every single second of it was golden, I feel that they wasted a lot of time on those phones and the sisters. It was a good idea, but it was too much.
I like the song more now, compared to the first time I listened to it, but I don't think it will become one of my favorites. This song is supposed to be a representative song of SCANDAL, so I'm really trying to like it.
And the logo again, I'm really trying, I swear.

Ok, rant ends here, I had to take that out of my sistem.

On a side note, they look so cute in those outfits! And MAMI and TIMO changing shoes ahahaha.

Correct; the featured "Sisters" are models. I think I remember seeing one of them saying they were friends with the band, so that's probably how at least some of them were cast in the video.

Unfortunately, this is how music videos usually work when extras are involved. Although they invite a bunch of extras (AKA fans) to the shoot, they usually have other people who were actually hired to be featured in the video, which mean they receive much more screen time.

This PV is instantly one of my favs .love. 

The girls look so cute and they look so happy.

I love the end with the confetti and everything it just looks so happy and upbeat and it puts me in a good mood haha

I didn't pay attention to member solo's screen time but after I started giffing the mv I've found myself in trouble finding parts longer than 3 secs for everyone (exept for haru ofc)
It might be due the fact that this mv has a storyline with extras and they covered up the lack of long scenes with the other girls pretty well at first sight.

I still like the blue colors and how the mv get brighter as the video goes on. it ended up as a repetitive video but it's ok, I can live with it

Seen the music video. Still not a fan of the  song but the music video is decent. I like the deep blue tint, their outfits, the setting and the fact is took place at night. Tho I'm getting totes Shunkan / love Survive vibe from the video, (except for the chorus part) idk,  to me it's doesn't fit the song all  that much. Looking at it , especially at the beginning, I  was thinking : Flashback no.5 fits this video so  very well, lolI don't know. Like Over Drive,  the PV fitted more of a rock type song, than it's initial song.
The whole bit with phones were kinda annoying to me, but its a good thing it didn't last long. .uhuh.

Tho I  don't understand why their YouTube channel just didn't release the PV instead of relying on a TVs program. hope to get other on there soon.
Now all we need is the B side and the lyrics. .happy.

I am not saying it applies to Scandal but recently in Japanese idol PV's there has been a move of trying to tell people that Japanese idols are only for Japanese fans...a view not shared by the actual idols.
We know Scandal want foreign fans by how hard they worked on their World Tour but I feel this is spreading to their Japanese fans as well.

I mean why not put their PV on Youtube where all their new fans from their World Tour can easily see it ?

I'm really fond of the PV actually. The colors in the PV are surprisingly pretty calming and they really work well together. The effects worked really well for the PV to make everything blend together and work together. Seeing how happy all of the fans are and how happy the girls are in the video really gives it an extra plus for me and makes me like it a lot more.

Just watched Jade's rip. I love the song and I love the video. Haruna looked awesome and I like the song's breezy, hopeful, upbeat feel and the video goes very well with it.

I just watched the full video on dailymotion. Initially I was seriously disappointed by the strong pop-notion of the song. After I read the subs for the short video one of you guys uploaded the songs finally grew on me. It has that motivational-don't-give-up vibe, which is amazing. Haru looks even younger than in the PV for Stamp!, I wonder how she does that...
Oh and btw: MAMI's hair:  .nosebleed.

In on the same boat with you. Yes, I know the lyrics are meaningful and that the girls were more involved in the production of the song, but it still does not stand out unlike their other songs. I was hoping that it'll have a similar vibe to Shining Sun (awesome b-side), but still nope. I can't imagine myself playing this song on repeat.  

Video-wise, it's okay. They all look amazing and as what @GibsonPhoenix mentioned, they all look younger here. I'm seriously envious of Mami's hairstyle!

Some one uploaded the radio program video where Life Is a Journey was aired, but sadly they aired it at the very end of the vid and the mute it, so we only get to hear the first 20 ish seconds . .waaa.  I'm hoping the full song will be up sooner.

I think it is a good song like Sisters. The speedup part is great. It is not top 20 SCANDAL songs material but you can't always expect every song to be a hit for you. Stamp! has top 20 potential for me so it's not like their new style experiments have brought me out of sync with them.

I hope for a reintroduction of split vocals between Haruna and Tomomi in one of their next songs. Another bass heavy song like Stamp! would also be great.

Right now, I'm not quite feeling TOMO's vocals in "LIFE IS A JOURNEY." It might be the rip, but her voice is much too high for my liking.

I like the music of the new song a lot, it definitely feels like the type of song where I can picture myself just riding a bicycle along the beachside and just chilling, cant wait for full version + no rip

The song is really cool, not surprised that Timo is on vocals this time.
 Like someone said before,  it does give u a feeling of riding ur bike along side a  beach and chilling..To me the song also gives off this nostalgic Scandal garage rock sound, and I really like it .hora. . The sudden  up tempo pace with that eerie guitar scratch is pretty awesome. Cant wait to hear the rest of the with high quality.... Oh boy more waiting  .whiteflag.

The poster is pretty cool,  I like the "No music,  no Sisters" thing

I like LIFE IS A JOURNEY... vocals is somehow like Orange Juice/Uchiagehanabi, sweet but I prefer when Timo holds back her vocals pretty much like Kan Biiru... The melody is fantastic, love that slow to fast transition. Then again I'm going to stick with the lyrics and I'm kinda hoping it would be very sweet.
