今日、恋をはじめます, which literately means "Today, I'll Start Our Love"

I watched this movie on the plane when we went to Japan last time - and bought it on bluray when I was in Japan which is what lead directly to finding scandal as it was that CD store that also carried Scandal. I didn't even notice it at first because I've only had Scandal Encore for a few days.

But the menu has a song selection - and sure enough the start of the movie has Happy Collector Happy

So just curious - anyone else seen this movie? It's the live action version of a manga. (no real surprise)

Yes, I saw it a few weeks ago. I thought it was pretty good.

Wait what? they made a live action of it? .wow.

I've read the manga on and off for years and finished over half a year ago (I mean its kind of very typical shoujo but for some reason I just love it enough to keep coming back for it)

I know they've made some ovas I've watched of it I didn't know they made a live action movie though ....I need to check this out.

The live action is pretty good to me, but I never read the comic books. I can't comment on how accurate it might be. But, on it's own, I thought it was very pleasant.

That's okay, I don't think something has to be a copy to be good....like for any fan of Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge the live action series is extremely different from the manga but 10X better

Hah! I loved that series! Oomasa Aya was so great in it that I immediately searched the internet and watched several more dramas and movies in which she acted. She is so very pretty, and her acting is good.

She's hilarious as an airhead fashion designer in Paradise Kiss. She was passably good in Vampire Heaven, did a great job as a good-hearted delinquent in Misaki Number One (which is a show that got me hooked on the actress Karina), was solid as the main character's little sister in Buzzer Beat!, and played a great initial antagonist/later friend of the main character in Mei-chan no Shitsuji.

I've recently decided to watch Yoru no Sensei where Oomasa plays a student, but haven't started yet, so can't comment. I'm watching Suikyu Yankees right now, and her acting is solid as a passionate-type teacher, but I haven't been hooked by the series yet. The main character is kind of annoying to me.

Happy Collector suited it really well! It was fun to watch, i loved it!
