For fun I wanted to practice my transcribing skills, so I tried playing the string section for Departure. I recorded a rough sample with the other tracks just to see what it sounded like, but what do you think?

I used a midi-machine type program, so I set it to 125 bpm (which is Departure's tempo). But yeah, maybe it's the sound quality :-/

Update: Tracks are down. I still need to EQ, balance, compress, reverb, etc. the individual tracks. I will be traveling Thursday, so I will be working on the mix then. I should have it done by next week.
