Interesting area right around the hotel, have you been to many of the restaurants right around the convention center?  Seems to be mostly chains - though some might not be - or just are chains I've not heard of.

Thanks for the heads up! That made my schedule less hectic.. I originally planned on buying merch earlier in the day, drop it off in my car, go to the concert, run back and then get the merch before the autograph signing. I didn't wanna carry around my backpack full of stuff to the concert

My plan for ACEN itself was to find SH folks and spend the day with them, like Noodles said it's more fun to hang out with people with the same likes etc. as you. It'll be nice to talk about things like Scandal without seeing that glazed over look people get when they aren't interested, no matter how hard they try to be ^^.

Any time is fine for me. Due to some circumstances, I'll already be at the hotel when I get to Chicago so I'm completely free from the moment I arrive in Chicago. ^.^ My only commitment for the 14th is that my friend is arriving around 3:30 so I (or we if others want to come along :3) need to go find him and have a few minutes to get back into the room. Then we're free again. ^.^

So I'm free and up for anything people want to do. c: I have a LINE if people want to add me for better communication but I'd rather not post it online so people can pm me for it. ^.^

@alxa, @charly66 I've stayed in Rosemont a couple of times for work. When I had free time, I went to a German bar, it was poppin' although it may have been because it was during Oktoberfest. Also hung out at the Rivers Casino, it wasn't too bad.

I happened to remember that the Anaheim show's tickets were only available as will-call when I ordered them. I went to the website, which says the tickets can be picked up 90 minutes before the event. Then I wondered, "Well, when is the meet'n'greet?"

I assume I'll need my ticket to get into the VIP pre-concert stuff, so wondered at what time in the day I should make arrangements to pick up my ticket. So, I called the Anaheim House of Blues to see if I could get any info. The only info they had as of now was that the doors opened at 7:00 for the show, but they had not heard anything from the band, as of yet, about when the meet'n'greet was going to take place. The rep said that typically, for other bands that did similar events, that would take place around 5:00, but there were no guarantees until the band makes the decision.

He also mentioned that the band should be sending out an e-mail letting VIP ticket holders know when to be there, but I get the feeling that was more a statement of what other bands have done in the past, and not something that he knew for a fact that Scandal was doing on this occasion.

Lastly, he suggested that I call back sometime a day or two before the actual concert to verify appropriate times if I had not heard more info prior to then.

My flight to Chicago got a bit delayed and I won't be arriving until about 8:15 pm now, so I might be a bit late to the pick-up at 9 pm tonight. I'll do my best to be there as close to 9 as I can, though!
