I have a question for SoCal natives. I can stay with family either in Redondo Beach or Pomona. Which would be better in terms of getting to the venue keeping traffic in mind? Just kind of worried since its Friday night. I expect it to be kind of crazy getting there. Thanks!

Based on what you posted earlier, it looks like the venue you're talking about is HOB Sunset Strip in LA? In any case, I'd definitely say Redondo Beach. It's much closer and, although you'd mostly have to take surface streets, the traffic going there would most likely be lighter.

Oh sweet, me too, small world haha. Are you driving or flying down there? I drove down a few times for other shows before, but the drive back was way too tiring, so I'm flying this time.

I live up in Daly City, so a little bit farther away from you and ishumbisho. xP
I'd definitely recommend flying down to L.A for the lives; it will be a lot easier and quicker than driving will be. Plus, the tickets will be pretty cheap if they're booked soon enough in advance. ^.^

It looks like there's fans coming from all over. Do people usually carpool/caravan to the venue from a meeting point or does everyone just meet there?

Speaking on behalf my SoCal group, it all depends on convenience, really, such as where you'll be coming from and if there are people close by who want to carpool to save time/money/gas/etc. But, most of us usually just meet up at the venue.

For about 5 of us who live in LA and have been going to shows together for a few years, we live relatively close to each other and so will meet up at one person's house and carpool together. We're the only ones who do carpool, though, since everyone else lives in other parts of LA.

For these upcoming SoCal shows, it looks like at least 10+ of us will most likely be carpooling together because we'll have friends coming in from out of state and the country and will all be staying together around the same area.

I hope I can carpool with some people. I think it will be more fun than driving there alone.

If that's real then it's an amazing set! I can only hope we'll get something similar in the US. They play a lot of Hello world songs which I think is amazing. I've seen all of their lives (on video, never seen a live show) and if it would've been a repeat of their previous shows, like Festival for example, then it would've been a little disappointing but so many new songs is great!

After looking at the list a bit more... They play every song from Hello world except Runners high. One of my favorites... I wish they would have switched Winter Story for Runners High. Still, awesome that they're playing so many new songs.

So the first performance was done... The setlist was nice (assuming it's accurate)... I'm quite sure that the order Graduation, Hon wo Yomu, Kan Biiru and Oyasumi will be played will not change haha... Wondering how they performed Oyasumi though...

Anyway, we'll be watching the last performance so it's still a really really long wait to go....

I don't see why they would have to same set list in places that they have never performed in as they would in Japan where they play all the time. I'm much more interested in seeing what songs they play in London and Paris.

21-song set huh? Looking forward to next Thursday and Saturday then. Since they are now adept to changing their sets regularly I do hope they'll mix it a bit for the other shows. Last time I saw them they only played 16 songs, like the same 16 (okay, bar one) in the same order two nights in a row!

Regarding the set list, we can most likely expect them to always play all (except perhaps for "Runners high") of the songs on HELLO WORLD. At the past album tours, they've always played all of the songs from the album they were touring for.

Also, RINA tweeted earlier that the hashtag to use for their tour will be #SCANDALWorldTour!

Driving is half the cost and somewhat enjoyable though, but I saved money for this trip so I could fly this time since I'm not going with many people to make road tripping fun haha.

Daly City isn't too far. Nice to know there are Scandal fans in the Bay :]
