It's also my first time standing in this type of venue so GA would be first come first serve? Just for information's sake, how long do you think one should get there before the start of the show to snag the first few row's?

Small personal cameras are allowed in the venue.
Commercial photography, flash photography, professional
cameras and recording devices are not permitted.
The following items are against HOB Anaheim policy and are prohibited from entering the venue.
Restricted items include (but are not limited to) the following:
NO Drugs or drug paraphernalia, illegal substances, eCigs, weapons of any kind (includes pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc).
No chains, sharp objects (pins, needles etc.)
No spiked shoes/boots
No eye drops, medication must have labels (I.D. must match name on label)
No sharpies or markers
All other questionable items are subject to HOB management discretion.

Oh, much more than that! My group (who used to be active on SH but not so much anymore haha) will probably comprise of 20+ on top of that, including some friends from Japan!

Oh, and I think I will be choosing the option for badges to be mailed rather than having to go pick them up at the con, which is a $2 fee for all badges. I've had bad experiences with badge pickup at other cons, and I don't know about you guys, but I would rather pay the $2 than waste a possible few hours of my time just waiting in line. So, by choosing this option all of the badges will be mailed to me, and from there I can either mail your badge to you, or you can pick it up from me at the con.
