Thank you guys for the info. Looks like there is no way around it unless I find a local that would purchase it for me. I found a similar company/service that would help get you tickets although I am still skeptical as this is a 3rd party thing: JapanConcertTickets.com . I'll probably search around for more info about them if they're good.

Hopefully, most of the japan concerts (including other artists) adapt something similar to SummerSonic's ticketing like adding an english version at the very least so foreigners would have a clue how to obtain the tickets.

I was very excited with the news about World Tour, however I was frustrated because it will not come to Brazil. .wtf.  Well, someday they'll come!!  

Now, I need to prepare myself to go to some of the lives in Japan or maybe the USA live.

I will need everyone's help because it will be my first live outside my country that I will go.  .please.

I live in Canada and I realize that the chances of them ever coming up here are practically zero, so this USA tour is great news. If they come to New York, I might just go. It's the closest place from where I live and it will most likely be the only chance I ever get of seeing them live.

I'm quite disappointed too! But I have nothing to do with it.

It's a shame that Sony Music Philippines folded a few years ago due to poor sales caused by rampant piracy leaving their remaining Sony recording artists with VERY SMALL distribution through Ivory Records. Even John Mayer's best selling albums Room for Squares and Continuum are no longer available in our music stores. So, the chances of SCANDAL having a distribution in the Philippines is little to none.

I'm so sorry for ranting my frustrations, guys!

Anyway, all I have to do is to file a vacation leave in advance, buy tickets online and fly to HK to go shopping and watch SCANDAL live.

AMAZING! I will 100% be going to the London show and hopefully the Paris show also. This news has made my day

I get the sense that the real issue is that Sony and the ticket sellers don't particularly want foreigners buying tickets to their Japan concerts. They set up the shows at venues sized to satisfy what demand they think there will be locally, so if foreigners buy tickets, that just means local fans can't get in. And it's the locals they think are more likely to buy stuff in the future, because they can market directly to them.

At the two Scandal shows I've gone to in Japan (including Budokan), I could count the number of other obvious westerners there on one hand. At my second show (which was just a hall tour show), I was the only person of European descent that I saw in the entire hall, although there could have been other westerners of Asian descent or other Asians there. I'm going to their show at Fujita University next month and I'm sure it'll be the same. But still these shows generally all sell out, without our help.

It stinks if you're a foreign fan who happens to be in Japan when they're playing, but it's not impossible to get tickets, just a little more difficult. And it makes it feel a little more special to be able to see them in Japan. I feel like I've entered into some sort of forbidden world when I'm at a Japanese concert.

I have a feeling their American shows are actually going to be very different from their Japanese ones, and I'm a little anxious about that to be honest. (I've been to various concerts for Japanese bands in NYC before, so I know what the crowds are like.) But I'm looking forward to it too.

You really can't assume how things will be by the crowds for other bands. As a handful of us here in the US have been to the past SCANDAL lives in LA and Hawaii, and not to mention numerous lives in Japan, I definitely think we are able to bring that same amount of energy you can find at lives in Japan and then some. Unlike how crowds can be in Japan, we don't hold back at all; people rock out their hardest and the band does in fact notice and really likes this. That's one of the reasons why they've said numerous times how they want to do another American tour. We'll be going to every date they'll be playing here (as well as their Europe dates) so we will absolutely make it awesome and unforgettable for the band.

-Have a shopping/deputy site like Rinkya buy you a ticket from Yahoo! Auctions Japan (after tickets are out).

-Ask a site like FDJP to buy you tickets. You tell them what kind of tickets you want + your price range and they'll try to find and buy them for you.

Are you currently staying in japan?

Yes. I do think they're trying to prioritize their local fans over foreign fans on the japan part of the tour. Since this is a world tour, it would be great if they made an exception and made it easy for everyone to purchase tickets especially when they have alot of concerts on japan before the overseas ones.

For the HK, one would argue that they're competing with other countries too for the tickets (since HK is an economic hub in SE and is easy to enter for asean nationals -- HK locals, singaporian fans, malaysian fans, thai, viet, etc will try to go) which I think is just as hard as getting into a japan concert.

I guess the hard work of getting the tickets is somehow part of the experience going to the concert... or I must be a masochist  .whistle.

This is awesome!  I hope they come to the O.C.  Although L.A., San Francisco or San Diego would be okay too.  Can't wait to go see them.

L.A and NYC are the most internationally known and popular cities in America, so there's a pretty high chance that at least those two cities will make it onto the list of stops. They're usually where most international bands choose to go when they come this way.

Although being from Northern California, I'm really hoping they'll choose San Francisco over L.A just this once.  Travelling doesn't bother me too much though haha. I'm planning on attempting to go to most (if not all) of their U.S dates, but it would still be nice to see a band choose to come where I live for a change. x)

It's entirely possible though that they would come to either San Francisco or L.A. Both cities have a lot of Japanese citizens and they both have individual things that appeal to artists. While it's pretty easy to say L.A has a higher chance of being chosen as a destination, it's still possible S.F would be possible as well.

Or they could just go to both cities. That would be great too.

Honestly, as far as U.S cities go, I think one of the only for sure locations would probably be NYC. There's a very little chance SCANDAL would pass up that chance.

I think we've made it pretty clear to the band that LA is definitely the best place in the US for them to go. I also did tell them in person in Hawaii to come to LA next time haha The last time they came around the area in 2011, which was the first time they had come back to the US after getting pretty well-known, we definitely did give them an unforgettable experience. That's where they truly learned of SH, after all! HARU also said in the SCANDAL SHOW photobook that she would love to live in LA. So, yes, I would be very surprised (and a bit heartbroken) if they didn't play here!

Also, many Japanese artists lately have been playing lives both in LA and NYC when they've come over to the US (ONE OK ROCK, Perfume, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, BABYMETAL), so there's a good possibility that SCANDAL might follow a similar schedule.

It seems a bit obvious since the Japan performances finish up around mid-April, but, as said in this short news clip, the overseas dates are scheduled to start from around May.

Haha damn, it seems like they will be going to Europe right after I leave for Japan. Sweet irony. But I'll stay there for a year so hopefully I'll get a chance to watch them there. 

However getting the tickets would have been so much easier for the London dates when you could do it in english, and finding my way around the city aswell.
