Snagged two more tix - this time for the Maebashi (Beisia Culture Hall) date two days after the Tachikawa (Tamashin RISURU) one.



I am mindful it'll be January and am praying hard that Japan will not get crazily snowed in (I should be more worried with the UK having bad weather causing delays to international flights) then like what it was this past February.

Any S-H members going to these dates in January? It'll be nice to say hello!

It's sold out on the regular vendors (e-plus, Lawson and pia).

You need to look for them on Yahoo! Auctions Japan now. And get a deputising service in Japan to get them for you.

I don't know if this is a trusted site but there's a related post here about the SCANDAL @ HK leg. It seems that on Jan 12 the tickets for the 680 HKD will be sold.

This is their first time a free-standing zone arranged for their live in Hong Kong. We people here call it Rocking area.
And this is their last leg of the World Tour. Beware they will pour all their energy before return home in Japan.
Yes, last time Puffin also coordinate their concert in Hong Kong back in 2011.
This stadium is designed for basketball matches mainly. Not that big a venue.

Well, lacking any new information about the upcoming unannounced dates for the show, we're left with everyone's second favorite pastime on the internet:

Conjecture.

I was looking at the dates, and trying to guestimate when the remaining locations are likely to have their show date. With Taiwan being on May 10, and Hong Kong being on May 29th, would it not make sense for the Singapore date to be on one of the weekend in between, as in May 15-18 or 22-24? (I think it would be odd to try to travel from Taiwan to North American and back to Hong Kong in a 19 day period, and then still have another date for Singapore.)

And, considering the logistics of crossing the Atlantic with the band's entire kit, would that not make it most likely for the USA and Mexico dates to take place in June, assuming nothing pushes the dates back further?

With tour dates in Europe on April 30th and Asia on May 10th, I find it incredibly unlikely that would make a stop in North America in between.

I believe all of the dates and countries are listed in their correct and chronological order on the tour page as of right now. Europe→Singapore→Taiwan→US→Mexico→Hong Kong. I don't see why they would have any dates/countries out of order if that's not the schedule they're sticking to. I suppose it could be possible that the reason why they still haven't announced the North American dates yet is because they're also thinking of logistics and might push them back until June, but, for right now, I think the schedule is correct as it is.

And although it is odd that they would be crisscrossing all over the place, it's not unheard of for artists to do things like that. When Perfume did their world tour last month, they went to LA→London→New York. I'm not sure why they did so when it obviously would have made more sense for them to have gone to NY after LA, but that isn't what they did.

I'd feel for the girls if they had to start on April 30th in Germany, leaving at best on May 1, then having two dates in the next 9 days on the other side of the planet (then turning around for a flight back across the Pacific to either USA or Mexico).

Venue availability seems the most likely explanation.

Could be why the US Scandal dates are still TBA at this point. Finding suitable venues on the dates you need them isn't always easy. I'm not sure how many mid-size venues Chicago or LA has. New York's bigger and even NYC is pretty limited these days in terms of the venues a band like Scandal could play at. It's pretty much Irving Plaza and that's about it, unless they'd want to do something exotic like play under the Brooklyn Bridge or something, or at a festival. It's a sad state of affairs.

Of course I'm still hoping they haven't announced dates yet because they're still trying to squeeze NYC in

How about Boston? Boston is a rock town with a number of cool venues for 500, 1000, 2000, 5000... The city has hosted anime conventions and there is a solid Japanese and east Asian presence. It would be easy access for New York and Montreal fans. Plus I noticed earlier this year Haru posed with a "Harvard" sweatshirt and Tomo had a "Boston" one (gasp!)

I still think they'd sell 2K+ tickets if they played at Dragon Con or Anime Weekend Atlanta.

I've seen some people scared for the weather in the UK that can make flight delayed.

But the day before they got a live in Paris, and the best way to go to London from Paris is to take the train "eurostars". And the trip is taking 2hours.
And I am pretty sure train is less exausting than plane.

also, their last performances in Japan is one week before. So I don't think one of these 2 dates will be delayed ^^
