The caption in the pic above says "The Girls Band You Had Most Influence With". It's quite nice that the Perfume & Yusuke Santamaria of Music Japan asked the girls (including LoVendoR) this question. I just thought I post the answer of the girls here.

Haruna - Go-Bang's "Ai ni Kite I NEED YOU" - this is so like Haruna that she would choose something inclining to pop, given she's a fan of pop music more


Tomomi - Princess Princess' "Sekai de Ichiban Atsui Natsu" - Timo said in the show that her mother sang the song many times in karaoke, that's why she was influenced by the band. (I'm also a fan of PriPri and have many of their albums, so was also surprised that she chose the song). It's quite good that she chose the earlier songs of PriPri as the band slowly transitioned to more poppish song (I remember they reunited a couple of years ago and played their most famous song "DIAMONDS" in Kouhaku Utagassen, which is inclining to Pop music).


Mami - Whiteberry "Natsu Matsuri" - This is probably why her singing voice is more punkish because of the band. Well, this is the signature song of Whiteberry (also a fan and got their first album). But I can't help that she likes Whiteberry because they are very young when they started, just like SCANDAL, which both got known during their high school years. (Also the fact that Mami is an idol wota).


Rina - Chatmonchy's "Hana No Yume" - This is the Chatmonchy's debut single to promote their first mini-album. Well, there are a lot of drums in the intro, that's probably why Rina likes the song X3

Nice post!! I didn't really like any of those bands, exept for Chatmonchy, but I do like to know more about their influences.

About Rina's pick, if my memory doesn't fail, she said that she liked Chatmonchy because of the drummer and the energy of the band (although I think that Scandal has more energy and Rina it's a better drummer, but you know how this is :p )

I honestly like most of their picks, except Go-Bang's. PriPri and Whiteberry in particular haha PriPri is a band I grew up with (yeah, I'm old =_=) and Whiteberry reminds me a lot of Judy And Mary of the 90s, though more leaning to punk-pop.

And also, I don't know... I don't see more equipments where Rina utilizes more of drums as her set is I think more basic. I'm not a drummer but I see more equipment of PriPri's drummer than her (but then again, after PriPri disbanded, she became a drumming teacher in a prestigious music school (along with PriPri's bassist became vice-principal at that school))

It's quite cool for me that they had a collab not so recently with PriPri's drummer for the ballad song "M", where Rina played the piano. I really hope she gets a whole better to the level of X-Japan's Yoshiki (but then again, Yoshiki, even if drummer & pianist of the band, he's the leader & more popular frontman)
