Hey everyone ! Hows it going? I'm really sorry that I haven't been on here in a really long time! Last year of high school is going by super fast and super busy! College is coming up really soon! Anyway, like the topic says I decided to make my own Mami Caster, inspired by WaffleDino-san! I hope you all will be patient with me in my progress through this and I hope that you will like it once its finished! Incase you are wondering what guitar I have a Squier Stratocaster! I'll be uploading pictures too! So I hope you enjoy my progress and I hope I inspire you too just like how WaffleDino-san inspired me!

Picture time! Sorry for not updating! Spring break just ended here! And its back to work!  .sweat.  Here I traced the body of my guitar on four pieces of graph paper and tapped them together! As you can see I started to draw the first part of the design, as well as the mistakes  .lol.  haha! more pics to be uploaded soon!

If you can, I suggest you to do it with a software on your PC.
Start to draw using different layer for each shape of the pattern. Here, more or less 1 layer for each color.

Here's the picture of my guitar! A Squier Stratocaster by Fender electric guitar! It's part of the affinity series. This guitar was given to me by my music teacher that I was taking private guitar lessons from! This guitar is used, so it's actually a price of $100.00. If you look at it, you can see the rusty bolts on the pick-guard and by the coil pick-ups. It has a rose wood fret-board as you can see here. It has 22 frets in total. It's not exactly like Mami-chans but, it has the guitar body and sound so hey, gotta make due with what you can afford you know?  .wew.  My hope is after I do my guitar design on it, which I might add is going to be a sticker, done by a friend of my grandfathers,  and it's going to be sparkly or glittery as my little cousin says  .happy. I have to admit my little cousin, who I consider my sister, since I'm an only child, actually came up with this design, so I give her credit, no matter how young she is ^^, my hope is to make the pick-guard a pearl loid pick-guard! Which means bye bye to the rusty bolts and hello to new shiny ones! I always hope to get a tremolo for it! I hope the local music shop where I got my guitar from has one! I also might add, since the amp I would like to get cost whopping $140.00, I have a Danelectro Honey Tone Mini-Amp! It's small but it packs one heck of a loud sound!! Anyway, look forward for updates!

Hey guys! As babaloued-san suggested, I instead of drawing it, I did a design in Photoshop! It's simple and I know it looks boring but I like it, considering it is mine, I should go with what I like right? Also, I don't want to really change anything on my guitar, like making the guitar black and everything, being that my family has always been money tight, we go with what we can afford, and something simple, it may not be the best as we want it to be, but hey, we appreciate what we have every if others have things we want to have .uhuh. .  I like how it turned out, I hope to put it on my guitar soon!

Hey everyone! Sorry for not updating! I hope you guys aren't mad!  .please. please forgive me for making you guys wait!

Anyway, I have some good news to share with you all!  My grandpa is able to see his friend so he can do my design on my guitar!  .clap. I showed my grandpa my design, and he said that it looks really cool! 

I'm glad that he likes it, since I like it as well! 

I asked him what would be best, a sticker or a paint job? And he said it's best if I want it to last a long time, to get a paint job! 
Sooooooo it looks like my guitar is getting a paint job done!   All now is left is just to bring my guitar to my grandpas place, make sure to line up the design correctly and get the design on top! 

Now that test are done and the year is going by easily since there is less and less test and homework, now I will be able to post more! The pictures I will upload is things such as my amp, my guitar strap , guitar picks and other things. I know you pretty such know what my guitar strap looks like, but on top of the pictures, there will also be the prices on which I spent for those things! 

So, look forward to that! Will update soon!

Amp cord! Not sure what brand it is though, it's pretty long if I unravel it!

Three most guitar picks that I use! I mostly use the gray Jim Dunlap .88 mm guitar pick. The Vintage T-Shell Classic is also .88mm I think, that one I also mostly use. The pink one is also Jim Dunlap .96mm guitar pick. 

Price of each pick: $00.05, 5 cents.

For these guitar picks, I rarely or don't even use them at all because they are a bit too hard for the strings, these ones are bound to break the strings easily. All of them are Jim Dunlap also. They are all put in order from not so hard to extra or extremely hard. These picks are also $00.05, 5 cents each.

Lastly, is my guitar amp! It's Danelectro HoneyTone mini amp! This amp does take 9V(9 volt) batteries, but the things is, the dang pack for only 2 of the 9V batteries is $28.00, which I think is unreasonable price for only 2. But, anyway, the reason why I don't use the 9V batteries anymore is because the 9V batteries actually die within a few days because I practice for hours. So my mom suggested that I buy a power cord for my amp since the 9V are actually are used for the fire alarms in our house  .lol. . 
Price: $45.00.

I bought all these things with my own money, so yes it did take a while to buy since sometimes we had to pay bills and other things like that, so it took a couple months here and there to get it all! The amp that I hope to get soon is $140.00 like I said previously. But, guess what? My mom is actually friends with the owner. The way she was friends with him, that she's a nail tech and the owner is a musician. She used to do this nails(His right hand nails were always long so that he didn't need to use a guitar pick, and he nailed would chip and break. She always never charged him, if she did she would charge him $5.00-$10.00, so that was nice of her. )and when we recently went to the music shop where I got all my stuff(I had to restring my guitar; paid with my own money. Price of replacing strings: $7.00), she asked if the amp was still $125.00(previous price of the amp until it was brought up to $140.00) and he said yes it is. So it's really nice of him to give us a discount since he knows that we live in a tight money situation, like I said earlier.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been able to update in a while! Been busy with finishing up high school! Graduation is in a few days!!! Woohoo!!!  .clap.  Anyway, since both my grandpa and I have been busy, we decided to put my design on after I graduate! The reason why we haven't been able to put the design on, is because my grandpa has been busy with his motorcycle club, and arranging some things to help his friend that had lost his leg from diabetes. 

Now, since my grandpa is finished with his club duties, I asked him last night how much it is to put my design on my guitar and that I would be willing to pay for it, if he didn't have money. And he told me that he would pay for it and that when I wanted to go. And, I told him(as I said previously)that both him and I are busy and that I didn't want him to have to cancel anything important because of me.

He told me, "Well, how about after you graduate, you bring your guitar over and we can take it over to my friend's place and we can have him put your design on it?"

I said okay and that it was a good idea!

So, since graduation is in a few days, and next week I won't be in school, I'm hopping that I can put my design on it! Just have to make sure that my grandpa isn't busy.

So, again everyone, I'm so sorry for not updating in a while. But I will! Until then guys, please be patient with me!  .please.
