I reread this book yesterday





There Was a Knock/Shinichi Hoshi

It has 15 short stories
I like that Shinichi Hoshi-san's writing style is POP-like
I think it's perfect to read when you have just a bit of free time
Suspenseful, thrilling, comedic,
Regardless of genre it has all kinds of stories so it's enjoyable
Although I usually don't choose comedy, it's easy to pick up if the stories are short
I really look forward to the afterword in novels.
I think it's just like the self-liner notes in band albums
Personality sometimes comes out in original stories
It's a bit different when you listen to an album after learning of things like the opportunity to create it and included emotions
Books as well
In 「There Was a Knock」, each story starts off with the same line and then proceeds and ends in a different direction.
When you read up to the afterword, it's refreshing to know that meaning and what inspired them
It's great


Although I haven't written much in the blog about my favorite books or movies lately,
I still love both of them
I'm as excited for someone else's music as much as our own
