I haven't seen this topic around and thought it might be interesting to start up ^^

You can simply put down the song/artist or you can tell us why it feels nostalgic, too. It can be vague or specific - anything goes!

For me:
Avril Lavigne - Nobodies Home and When You're Gone
Taylor Swift - Teardrops On My Guitar
Ahh the music I grew up with and the first time I really loved a song

Rie - Life is Like a Boat
I remember loving this song whenever I watched Bleach on the TV. The song recently popped back up huhu

Ahh, sorry, I have lots. I could make a whole playlist of nostalgic songs XD

I don't listen to "old music from my life" very often. I get depressed a lot. Sometimes I do, but just not very often. I use to rush into a band for like half a year, or a year, and then only listen to te new stuff they made. When I was a kid I asked myself "How it's gonna be when I was like 45 and hear this music again?", well, I'm 26 and that it's currently happening XD I don't like it at all. Sometimes a wild old song appears and how I react it's a lottery, but this it's a list of the song that I KNOW that I'll get nostalgic:

- Bryan Adams - Summer of '69 and Heaven
- Sonata Arctica - The misery.
- Mr President - Coco jambo.
- Any Avril Lavigne's old stuff.
- Dragon Ball opennings.
- BOA - Duvet.

Smaller and Smaller by Faith No More. I remember that the record store played it during an autograph session many times in 1993. It's the song that got me hooked on FNM, a band I still listen to daily.

What I like about them is their music is timeless and was different. Music released 20 years ago could be released now and still sound fresh, and no two songs sounded the same. The latter is another reason I enjoy Scandal (o:

Doll by SCANDAL because it was the first song I ever heard by the girls. It makes me feel nostalgic for obvious reasons, also because I was still in school at that time. It brings back lots of memories.

Also Dragostea din tei by O-Zone comes to mind because it was probably the first non-English language song I ever heard (or at least the first I remember). The first of many now.

Honestly, for me, nothing by Scandal makes me feel nostalgic. Even their slower, sadder sounding songs make me feel more happy than sad/reminiscent.

Here's my nostalgic list:

Cure: Just Like Heaven; Lovesong
INXS: Never Tear us Apart
Matchbox 20: Push; When You're Gone
Utada Hikaru: Stay Gold; Blue
When In Rome: Promise
Pearl Jam: Jeremy

There's probably more, but those are what come to mind.
